Incredible food and superb selection of wine, all at very reasonable prices. Definitely one of the top restaurants in Newcastle, will certainly be visiting again
Great food, good service and nice and cosy feel inside. Outside needs some work doing to modernise it and tables are abit wobbly and chairs not comfy. Definitely return though. It's a little gem.
Beautiful food. Never got the dessert menu or offered a coffee but it was very busy, last ones out. Highly recommended and will return again
From entering to leaving The Patricia was a wonderful experience. The two young waiting staff were flawless in a very packed restaurant. The food was amazing and everything perfectly cooked and at a perfect temperature. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Great staff, lovely restaurant. No one was phased when we asked for a vegan main course. Lovely artichokes. Lovely sourdough. Great place for a special meal. Would definitely go back.
Decent food, quality ingredients, good cooking. Hearty portions. Excellent wine list. Good neighbourhood restaurant. Rather dark inside and other patrons seemed to be complaining about their wait for food although we had no issues.
Excellent food, great service. Wide range of wines. I can't wait to plan the next trip back to The Patricia. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
fresh, light and flavoursome. the chocolate mousse overwhelmed , strong and good chicken liver pate and a perfect sandwich of cheese and cherry tomato - thank you
Did not have a good experience at The Patricia after looking forward to this based on a lot of peoples high opinion. The food was not as good as was expected and mostly tasted of oil regardless of what we ate. On top of this the in house ambiance did not allow for ease of conversation with a small space, loud music and poor acoustics.
Gorgeous food, cosy environment & good service. Had spider crab followed by sirloin steak, all presented beautifully, and very tasty. Liked the intimacy of the restaurant
Minimum of 25 words - arm twisting review software - Patricia beware! Liked the food and service - would go back, quite rustic and relaxed but great flavours.
The food was unbeatable and the best I've had in Newcastle. The decor needs a lot of work (net curtains!), which unfortunately affected our experience.
happen to find a table at lunchtime having had no success for evening bookibgs. The food was tapas style and was wonderful and satisfying. Would definitely be back.
popped in for an early supper and really enjoyed the food - all course were delicious and I liked the fact the menu was small.
Lovely intimate restaurant, very attentive and knowledgeable waiting staff and excellently cooked food with well sourced ingredients. Couldn't recommend it enough - Newcastle needs more places like this.
Fantastic food, great value and good service. Pleasure to visit for a second time and will do many more times, couldn't recommend highly enough. Thanks Nick!
The food and tapas style lunch menu was amazing, however the interior could be decorated more as the look of the restaurant doesn't match the quality of the food and it was pretty dark insider so could do with better lighting.
Amazing place. Wonderful food and great service. It was one of the best meals we've ever experienced. Great lighting and atmosphere too. We'll be back soon.
The Patricia is a hidden gem. Excellent food from a pared back menu where the quality of the ingredients speak for themselves. Very nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Really enjoyable.
A little gem! Cannot recommend highly enough. Perfect blend of exquisite food, fascinating wine list, good ambiance and excellent service. I have visited twice now, and every dish has exceeded all expectation. Nick's balance of flavours is like no other.
Really excited about going to The Patricia. Whilst it was busy and had lovely staff, I found the decor/seating of the restaurant to be uncomfortable and grungy. Not what I expected at All from the website. I enjoyed my main and snack but found my starter to be a strange combination. Brussels, onion jam and Parmesan did not work for me! A good mid range restaurant but too over-hyped!
Delicious produce, well cooked and presented. Good service will go back. Friendly atmosphere. Very tasty slow cooked lamb with a variety of veg for maln. Delicious leek starter.
Really great food and service - feels like a local neighbourhood bistro but serves really special food. Second time here and will be back again!
Took over one and a half hours for main meal to arrive. The waiter tried to blame us from only going from a snack straight to maIn course!!! Food was great though
The food is amazing: deft, complex, vivid. Great wine list and atmosphere too - I love the pared down presentation and informal mood. I've been twice now and each time it felt like I'd had a real treat.
One of the best meals I've ever had. Went for lunch sharing 8 dishes between two. Epoisses, sprouts, gnundi, lamb, mackerel, Harmon and chocolate mousse. Amazingly, delicious food. Great service. Thanks!!
Most importantly the food was excellent. The ambience was perfect. We loved the place! However, the service was a little amateurish & rushed. When the quality of service matches the food the place will be faultless.
Tasty small dishes full of surpises. Cooking is first rate and ingredients of best quality. But please do something about the lighting. Second visit with friends who were impressed.
A really really great experience, with good atmosphere. Service was well judged and food really top notch. Very enjoyable, and hope we can be back soon!
Excellent, warm, friendly service. Fantastic food- we had something from all four courses! The Brussels sprouts startern was delicious. A really lovely night, we will definitely be back!
Food and service are both absolutely excellent - I've not had better in Newcastle but a bit more work needs to be done to the furnishings: - My chair had a very rough bit at the edge, if I had been wearing a delicate skirt or dress or even tights it would have almost certainly snagged - The toilet handle didn't work properly - The dark walls all over could do with being brightened in some places as its a bit oppressive - The outside could do with smart ending up, I know you maybe want to go for a shabby chic look but scruffier than Santana's next door isn't good. Only bothering to say the above as this is a really great restaurant, with excellent staff, but the owner needs to do just a bit of smart ending up
Fabulous food - really innovative combinations and great flavours. Friendly service too. We'll be back. Highly recommend a visit. We went for Saturday lunch, where it's all sharing plates so we got to try most things on the menu. All excellent
The food was fantastic although the menu only had 5 or so choices for each course and they had ran out of one of the mains. Decor a bit basic. Would definitely return.
Fab food, staff and ambience. What a lovely evening. Nothing too showy, just excellent ingredients, prepared and cooked by a chef that clearly knows his stuff. Our first visit but definitely in the Newcastle top 5.
First visit which was for our wedding anniversary. We loved the friendly welcome and the staff were great throughout. We got served a complementary glass of bubbly when we said we were celebrating and the food was wonderful. Will definitely revisit thanks
The food was delicious, the service attentive and the background music excellent. Superb wine list, and although the choice of food is limited, everything we chose was extremely tasty. Will we go back? Yes - when the menu is a little more extensive.
Exceptional food. Well presented. Knowledgeable staff. Lunch consists of "tapas" dishes. Highly recommend the epoisse sandwich, Brussels sprouts and the mussels. You must try it!!
The perfect restaurant for local foodies. The constantly changing menu is always exciting, the staff charming and friendly, and the atmosphere relaxed. After five visits, I've yet to receive a plate of food that wasn't exceptional.
Was taken aback. Modest restaurant, modest prices. Absolutely outstanding food. The roasted beetroots with truffle shavings was one of the best starters I can remember eating in a long time. Full compliments to the chef...
Really nice restaurant - great food, lovely wine, friendly staff, good service, but.... shocking music (Madonna, power ballads.... why?) Didn't spoil our evening but the Muzak needs to be sorted
