About The Queens

With a menu fit for a king or queen, The Queens goes above and beyond to ensure its subjects are privy to the fully royal treatment. This modern and contemporary restaurant and pub is British gastropub dining at its best, and is located in a beautiful 16th Century building in the heart of Belbroughton, just outside Stourbridge. The menu here is carefully curated, with an emphasis on locally sourced produce and ingredients, and it really makes the difference. Why not start with house-smoked pork and chorizo croquettes, before a main of local trout, crayfish and smoked haddock? Though whatever your choice, you’re bound to be delighted. You’ll find The Queens on Queens Hill, just be sure to reserve ahead of time to avoid disappointment.

An excellent and enjoyable lunch with my wife and two friends. Friendly, attentive service and plenty of food options. Two of us had the 10oz sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce and beautifully cooked chunky chips. My wife chose the fish option that she enjoyed immensely and our other friend selected a vegetarian option which was equally good. One very tasty pudding served by the chef himself, was shared by the two ladies and coffees all round, made for an excellent lunchtime experience. Good selection of real ale and wines and a total bill for four people of £103. Highly recommended.

Excellent. I was with a large group of 7 diners and no-one had anything bad to say about the food. The food itself was beautifully presented, delicious and the menu had a few interesting options that I hadn't tried before. Would recommend. The only thing preventing a 6 star review is I thought perhaps the wait for food was a tad long. However, we were informed of a 25 minutes wait when ordering and it didn't detract too much from the overall experience.

We celebrated my birthday dinner with you and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. We were lucky to have the side of the restaurant to ourselves which I like as it gives you a chance to talk without shouting and focus on the conversation. I chose course that I was very happy with. The tiny Xmas mince pies were delicious. The highlight of my dishes was the horseradish sorbet( with the trout starter). Yummy!! Thank you we shared a memorable evening

We ate here as a party of 4. Fabulous 3 course Sunday lunch, cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Starters of pate, fish and pigeon, all had mains of Roast Beef cooked beautifully with a lovely selection of vegetables and rich beef gravy, puddings were just as delicious, Eton mess, brioche bread pudding and chocolate torte highly recommended.

The food was excellent however the service didn’t match it, the staff that were working were lovely but there wasn’t enough staff working to cover how busy the restaurant was. If you wanted to ask for an extra round of drinks or a coffee you had no chance of ordering it as there wasn’t nobody around to ask. Disappointing compared with the previous 2 visits because of the lack of staff serving.

Absolutely beautiful food. Good choice, and while some choices are a bit on the pricey side, there are plenty affordable mid-range too. Very attractive premises inside and out. Decent service too. Only drawback is in the Winter, it’s actually quite chilly (not easy to heat a characterful old open plan-ish building) so go with an extra layer.
