Great service and lovely food. Always a pleasure, will definitely return again soon.

We had a marvelous time and a good dinner with our English friends. We had a wonderful service from all the girls! We will co.e back when we are back in England. Ton and Inge from Holland.

It was a little noisy for us, but we were in the bottom end with quite a few children. We had lovely Sunday dinner, the most gorgeous roast potatoes, the beef let it down as it was quite tough.

Unfortunately cold plates,luke warm food .son had large steak &ble pie accompanied by 5 chips .only toilet in use for ladies was the disabled not good when mums& toddlers needing to use this.pudding portions extremely small. Unfortunately we wont be back in a hurry.

Great range on the menu and good portion sizes. Puddings were biiiiiig! Children’s menu was much note expensive than most places because pudding wasn’t include. Service was good and the staff were knowledgable.

Very friendly staff although they seemed to be stretched at times and we had to wait to pay and order final course. A good evening and belly pork was amazing

The food was good as it always is. There are clearly not enough staff on and this spoiled the experience.

Best restaurant Christmas dinner we have had (only downfall was would have liked the brussels to be fresh and not frozen, however, it wouldnt stop us from returning). Roast potatoes were out of this world, crispy on the outside (not fatty) and fluffy inside. Good portion sizes as well

Next time I'm going to ask for a "warmer" table, we felt a bit distant in the corner they placed us considering the restaurant wasn't at full capacity

This was our first visit. We booked here as our usual Sunday lunch venue was fully booked, quite honestly they did us a favour as this was far superior for the same cost. The staff were superb, and the food excellent. This will be our new go-to for Sunday lunch from now on. Thanks for looking after us.

This place is excellent! Food is always top quality and delicious.

Staff cheerful and welcoming but surroundings rather dusty and cold. Food overcooked, looked as though it had been kept warm too long and was dried up.

I didn’t like being squashed in to a small corner, when all tables were free (. Two tables were reserved ) the only other people in the restaurant were a young couple which were the table next to ours. We had to ask them if they minded rearranging their coats and chairs so we could squeeze in. The young man said “we might as well sit on the same table “ Obviously it was embarrassing all round. We were there for a birthday treat, I chose to go to the Red Lion, so felt responsible for the embarrassment of having to ask to be moved. Only positive after that was the young lady with short blonde hair that waited on us.

Great friendly service & excellent food , Great for Kids

The reserved table was rather small for 5 people. When I commented on this ,we were quickly moved to another larger table , which we were very happy with.

Superb food and great service from the friendly staff. Highly recommended.
