Enjoyed our meals and were pleasantly surprised that a roast dinner was still available at 6pm. Also pleased that the Chicken Moz was offered with salad or veg and choice of chips/potatoes. For me the veg was slightly overdone, but that's very personal and I still enjoyed them. It was rather noisy when we arrived, we shall come a touch later in future, as it quietened considerably. Can't complain about families wanting to eat out on a Sunday, just we have hearing problems. Sticky toffee pud and crumble very nice to finish.

Food was very good. Lots of choice. It was the first time we had visited the pub for some time. We took friends who were visiting and we all throughly enjoyed it.

After arrival ordered drinks were forgotten. Similarly requested ketchup was not brought to our table. Children kept opening fire escape door to the garden resulting in a cool draft blowing in - staff did not point out the normal access doorway. Food was acceptable but expensive for what you get. This visit was at the weekend whereas we usually visit in the week.

We are a regular visitor to the restaurant and we will return again soon. We just felt we were rushed between starter & main & our request for a 2nd round of drinks to drink with our mains didn't arrive until we were almost finished.

Our first visit was brilliant, the service was great, our last 2 visits to the Red lion was not as good the service was terrible, we waited ages the mains where ok when i they eventually arrived, then another 30 minute wait for the servers to come and ask if we would like deserts, overall 2 much waiting

Our meal was absolutely amazing, the best meal we have ever had. Services was quick and staff very friendly. Highly recommend and will be going again very soon

Our first visit after many many years and won’t be our last. Absolutely beautiful home made food, which arrived very quickly. Service was fantastic, each waitress had a smile on there faces 🥰 thank you for a lovely evening. Will be back again soon!

Lovely food, friendly staff and great venue. Only minor point was wait for food of about 45 minutes but they were very busy, nearly a full house.

We pre ordered our food and once we'd all arrived it came out piping hot, it great value and lots of choice for everyone. We will be back :)

We had a brilliant afternoon celebrating our parents 40th wedding anniversary, We were a party of 13 including 5 children and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Food was lovely, would definitely recommend, lovely family / friendly pub. Thank you 😊

Our first visit to the Red lion was exceptional, the staff where absolutely out of this world. The food was exceptional, we enjoyed our visit that much we rebooked to go back next week

Food was excellent and staff pleasant but service on the day could have been better. Trying to get attention to order drinks and a pudding was difficult, we actually gave up on the pudding.

We all had a lovely meal, lovely pub with a great atmosphere.

I booked our table for 2pm for 10 people on the app, it was also two of our guests birthday’s that we were celebrating. It was extremely busy. Sadly the table wasn’t ready. We wasn’t sat down to our table until 2.35pm. We received our food more than one hour later after being sat down. Our food came out together we did have one meal mistake, which was ok. A couple of our guests wasn’t happy with the chips as they wasn’t cooked fully or some of the food was a bit dry and the steak was a bit grisly. Sadly I don’t think we will be returning to the Red Lion in a hurry.

Not the best experience, I know it was a little busy , but we asked if it would along time for food! Was told no but 45 mins latter food still had not arived. Food was ok . On the down side I ended on the floor when the chair leg broke was lucky I did not hurt myself.. They brought me a very old chair but it was too low . They did not. Seem very bothered As a couple and grandparents ourselves we Realise children make noises!! But being sat to a party of 24 a bit of common sense by management would not of gone a miss to sit us away from them.. Regardless to say will not be going again .

Had a lovely night, tucked into a table by the window, perfect space for a birthday celebrations staff were great. The food was lovely, hot and fresh.
