On holiday here we had two small dogs not an issue. Food was lovely the pub and gardens very busy as a glorious sunny evening service was great loved it will deffo be back.

Friendly, but not massively attentive service. Perhaps understaffed? Food arrived in good time. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. Two had 60z steak and one had the duck. My ribs were quite dry and not especially meaty or tasty, but overall, a lovely setting.

Decided to go out for a Sunday lunch, great choice, food excellent and so was the service.

Great menu, food was delicious! Nice cosy country pub interior.

Food was incredibly bland. A pesto jam that accompanied bread and olives was non descript. Service was not great. Food arrived very quickly , whilst we were still eating our starter in fact, and we can only assume it was microwaved. Nobody checked whether our food was ok even though our plates clearly had quite a lot of food left on them. Wine choices were good and very reasonably priced.

Took a while to get served at the bar as we kept being missed but Nice food, nice staff and generally a good service!

We have used the pub many times before but we liked the menu which seemed ne to us. The ribeye we had was extremely good. We were impressed by the pepper sauce which came with the Ribeye steak and also the ice cream in the Affogato which both had a creamy texture which I had not expected.

The food was OK, service a bit haphazard and "ski hut" ambience not great. The people working there were lovely.

Excellent food again. Great menu variation. Good inspiration for my own cooking.

Booked a table for 7.30 so that we would be finished dinner by 9pm to support the live band. Ordered food at 7.40. Starters arrived at around 8.15, main course arrived at 8.50. The food was excellent but the waiting was horrendous.

Had fish and chips but chips were thin cut which was disappointing. Otherwise a great experience. Husbands burger was fantastic apparently.

Recommended this pub by the cottage owner Nick. Had a brilliant roast sirloin beef meal & starters to begin. We are only in the area a week, but we will definitely visit again. Top notch.

Lovely starter and dessert. Nice atmosphere. Good service. Burgers were undercooked for our liking. Could do with further choices on the mains menu. Pricey- but so is everywhere these days.
