The service and the burgers were great. Two of us had beef burgers which were among the best we had ever had. One of us had a vegan burger which was excellent too.

Food was lovely. Could not fault it. Service was absolutely terrible. One member of bar staff was particularly rude and seemed more interested in having a casual conversation at the bar with what I presume were co-workers. I asked where to order food as we had been showed to our table with no offer of getting drinks or further action and got a sarcastic response. Then asked what gins they had as I couldn’t see them without glasses and got yet another sarcastic response. Only did I get recommendations and treated less of an idiot the second time I went up to the bar and clearly struggled seeing what alcohol was on offer. Generally really disappointed.

Food was fantastic and staff very accommodating for a birthday surprise. Great atmosphere!

Amazing Burger, I know it has been said before but they are, they are a really good size as well. couldn't do a dessert, I didn't have a burger in a bun but between pancakes with maple syrup, the downside to the meal was I had to use a knife and fork to eat the burger not my fingers as it was so big, Grrrr

Nice food and excellent service, in a peaceful environment. I always reserve before going because sometimes, it is full. The staff is very cordial The toilets are clean!

Best burgers in Southampton and a great range and choice of burgers. 4 different patties can be combined with 50+ toppings, plenty of vegetarian options and gluten free buns are available. Good craft ales, ciders as well as gin and rum.

Great burgers, good ale if you want a proper pub with good food this is the place for you . Incidentally (I’m not vegan) they have a good variety if you are vegan

The food was awesome nice juicy meat cooked to perfection and a nice relaxing atmosphere was my second visit can’t wait for my third .

Very tasty, good service, amazing range with almost everything available gluten free - great for coeliacs! Also very accommodating to someone in a wheelchair. We had 30% off our entire meal due to someone in our group having a student card as well!

Really big servings which I appreciated. There were plenty options for those who don't want a burger. Maybe the burger bun fell apart quite easily in hand. Medium rare was the only option available for my burger unfortunately. I also would have liked to know where to sit to have food. We weren't noticed when we came in and then were asked if we had booked a table when we had already sat down (we had booked).

The burgers were up to their usual standard - huge, tasty, perfectly cooked (chargrilled but medium in the middle) and lots of great toppings. The buns were really nice too.

Good as always. Great selection of beers and awesome burgers. For reason, our sweet potato fries were on the “well done” side of normal, but TBH I was too hungry to complain and by the time I thought about it again, I’d eaten them all. So can’t have been too bad :)

Monday and Tuesday night are burger nights, and what a burger you get! The three of us were left full and satisfied after eating our weight in food. Good drinks selection too. Worth booking a table as it's a popular night.

Went for a birthday party and had a great time. If you like burgers, stake etc combined with fantastic selection of real ale, gin, vodka and whisky, this is the plan e for you. Booking advisable.

Food very good and promptly served by helpful staff. Love the vegan/veggie options. Had plenty of time to be sociable and left feeling well satisfied.

Went for dinner with my mum and partner as I wanted them to try Vegan Fortnight. The food was awesome and the staff were lovely :)
