To beef Sunday roast dinners ,have to say one of the best we have had for a few years.Veg wass lovely but the beef was amazing all in all absolutely 5 out of 5.Well done all involved.

We had the Sunday Roast beef which was delicious and tender with lotsnof vegetables. Staff were charming and friendly.

After a mix up with the venue they were really helpful and explained how to find them. The staff were really nice and happy and the service was excellent. Will be coming back nagain W

We were made to feel very welcome, the staff were lovely, attentive but not over the top. They didnt try to force desserts etc when I didn't want one. The food was lovely, I had fish and chips and hubby had a pie and a choc brownie sundae.

Absolutely delicious!! Was recommended for the homemade pies! Was amazing! Had the brisket and peppercorn sauce pie, beautiful crispy pastry, cooked to perfection, no soggy bottom and full of tender meat with no air gap in the pie. Gravy was delicious and I’ll be honest I licked my plate it was that good! This wasn’t just any pie…..it was THE ONE AND ONLY ROYAL OAK PIE!!!

We had reserved a table. Drinks orders at our table. Good food choice, lovely and friendly service staff. Fantastic beer from Wandsworth Brewery in Devizes. It is a touch pricey. But it is good.

I just thought what we paid for the meal and what we got was very limited and won’t come again .i realise it’s the coltwolds but portion sizes are too small . And leaving a tip is wrong too

Over £10 for a children's meal consisting of one sausage, a few chips and a small tub of beans. This was extremely overpriced. Disappointed.

We visit the Cotswolds every year or two and always have a trip to the Royal Oak. As a coeliac, it's great to have a selection of gluten free meals to choose from. Great food and lovely staff!!

We received a really warm welcome the moment we arrived and the excellent service throughout was matched by the yummy food. The sourdough starter was huge, warm and soooo tasty and the pies were equally good. The staff effortlessly found us a table to drink in the bar afterwards. Thank you!

Couldn’t have received a better service. Sadly two of our guests for a pre-ordered work lunch had to cancel due to seasonal illness. John and the team went over and above, allowing us to adjust menu choices to fit new guests dietary requirements last minute, and delivered wonderful plates of food. Thoroughly recommend.
