We had a lovely lunch here to celebrate a birthday. Staff were so friendly and accommodating and the food was excellent. The pies were as good as I remember from a few years ago.

We were having a family lunch and hadn't seen some people for a while and one of our party was having trouble hearing. Had we known that we might have checked that out ahead of time. However, the food was fantastic, as was the service and everybody was very kind and helpful. Would recommend in an instant.

Well we were there for 5.5 hrs so that says it all! Great food and service and they cater for gluten free brilliantly- even Yorkshire Puds!

The staff were lovely and welcoming as soon as we walked in, really lovely pub atmosphere! The food was amazing - particularly the pies. We loved them so much we ordered 7 to take home! Highly recommend and will definitely be back when next visiting the Cotswolds!

Regular place for three of us to meet for conversation and good food. We all chose from the new Spring main menu with puddings too.

Reviews I had read spot on. The four of us each had different pies and all were superb as were the fries mash and thick cut chips. Warm welcome by lovely friendly landlord. Highly recommend
