The Royal Oak - Burford

Excellent food, very good service, meal presented in good time and the staff were attentive throughout. I thoroughly recommend this pub/restaurant.

Charming and welcoming members of staff, excellently presented food, generous servings, great atmosphere and lighting. We will certainly come again ! One of the best Sunday lunches we have had locally.

Very impressed from first freindly greeting on arrival. Table was ready, the menu is wery good pub grub. Two of us had brocolli and stilton soup starters from the specials board, which was excellent Three of us had pies from the main menu, all agreed they were exceptional in the quality of the pastry and the generous fillings.

Despite arriving late, we received a warm welcome. The food was great as was the service. Good old fashioned hospitality at its best. This was our second visit and it won’t be the last!

Cost pub with good honest pub food. Coffee was terrible but don’t expect much from pubs on coffee quality!

Food was absolutely amazing. Fresh and tasty. I’m glad we booked here. The pub was quiet when we arrived and during our meal but it was quite early but it got busier after 12:30 ish. The music was nice and the staff were amazing and attentive. Service was quick and they couldn’t help enough for anything you asked! 10/10 would return.

Never disappointed with the food and service when I eat at the Royal Oak. I keep coming back which speaks for itself. Shame I was sat next to a large noisy group on my last visit but that certainly is not the restaurant's fault.
