A great Sunday dinner. Service was friendly and helpful. The food arrived quickly, beautifully cooked and presented. It was a busy Sunday afternoon so this was especially noteworthy and commendable. The food tasted as good as it looked too. Nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. Cheerful staff who made me feel valued. A very pleasant meal. Thank you to all involved, front of house and in the kitchen.

Service and food were exceptional. When we visit Burford we alway visit the Royal Oak. The Pies are superb and you will not be disappointed!

Great second visit. Hubby had the mushroom pie and my mother and law and I had a starter size and a full size tomato salad. Disappointed that we had to have halloumi rather than mozzarella otherwise would have been a 5* review.

3 of us came for Sunday lunch. My father had roast beef. The meat was too tough and he couldn't eat it. My husband had a pie, which had an ice cream scoop of mash potato.

Lightly battered fish was great so nice to be able to taste the fish
