Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, good menu and importantly lovely food.

Never disappointed with the food and service when I eat at the Royal Oak. I keep coming back which speaks for itself. Shame I was sat next to a large noisy group on my last visit but that certainly is not the restaurant's fault.

A great Sunday dinner. Service was friendly and helpful. The food arrived quickly, beautifully cooked and presented. It was a busy Sunday afternoon so this was especially noteworthy and commendable. The food tasted as good as it looked too. Nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. Cheerful staff who made me feel valued. A very pleasant meal. Service and food were exceptional. When we visit Burford we alway visit the Royal Oak. The Pies are superb and you will not be disappointed!
