We come along for the carvery on numerous occasions, but today was disappointing. The meat wasnt as nice as it normally is. I had the pork and beef, the beef had a strong garlicky taste? and both were alittle to tough for me. Sorry for these 😔

Had to wait 40mins on our food which only arrived after we asked how long it would take. The plates were a mess and my chicken mayo had little chicken in it and so much vinegar it was inedible. Poor service, worse food. We won’t he back. Such a shame as this used to be such a reliable and high quality restaurant.

Friendly staff, seated quickly I had the cheese and ham salad lovely chips. jam anAd cheese, they forgot the boiled egg. My partner had the chicken in a bun. Always plenty of good on plates Value for money Recommended this venue for food and atmosphere

The steak pie is amazing so tender and plenty of it and the gravy is to die for, the vegetables are cooked to perfection. It really is value for your money one of the best places. To avoid disappointment book your table before you go.
