It was really busy when we arrived. We waited around 20mins for our meal. It was totally worth the wait. My friend who was in a wheelchair the staff was very helpful to help her. We will be back

Waiting staff were amazing friendly and polite, we dined upstairs, could not fault the food, decor a bit dated upstairs.

Table was ready when we arrived, staff friendly and attentive. Mix up with one of our meals as a courtesy there was a reduction in our bill that wasn't necessary but a lovely gesture.

My partner had the Lasagne which was very hot and tasty. My soup was fine. Went for sponge pudding and custard. Tasted nice, sponge was hot and custard lukewarm. Had to go up to bar to chase for my tea. Service slow and dessert was not great with cold custard, disappointing as usually top notch. They were busy upstairs, so maybe this was the problem.

Meat quality excellent. Decent quality well seasoned frozen veg. Good price. Great to see a place giving teenagers a weekend job but they could really do with a bit of direction or if they’ve had it a kick in the right direction. Very enjoyable though.

Average meal ordered drinks two had soda instead of tonic said they would change them but never came back to us got the bill and went to the bar toilets in the bar were smelly and were chocked with paper and unable to flush I appreciate that is not the owners fault but should be checked more often

Both my starter and main course were overcooked with hard breadcrumbs on the outside making the meal difficult and dry to eat. Not as good as it used to be.
