amazing food and drink :-) great service and loved the drinks free vend machine!! raspberry, vanilla and cherry coke all in one! The burger and sides were so tasty! Def need to go back soon! Great place.

Amazing food as always and spectacular service by our waitress. She couldn't have been more helpful. It was extremely busy and quite hard to hear each other but that's a small price to pay for such amazing food!

Very nice food, and good portion sizes. Very friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. Don't be put off by the outside, it's very open and airy inside. Prices are a little high, but worth it for a special occasion.

We went there last night, a group of six people. Everyone enjoyed the food, from the huge plate of nachos we chose as starter to the meat wich was very tasty until the dessert! I simply love this place! Highly recommended!

First time at smoke pit the service was good thought the tables was to close together didn't have privacy as tables next to us could hear our conversation and vice versa.we had the mixed platter for 2 didn't like it at all we took most of it home it all tasted really salty very disappointed

I have visited The Smoke Pit many times, excellent venue, awesome staff and the food is always first class - what more could you ask for. I have marked noise as average as it's a little noisy but adds to the atmosphere of the place :-)

Only feedback would be that I ordered ravioli children's meal for my baby and it was quite spicy so she ended up just eating the chips. Otherwise, great service, surroundings and food.

Excellent BBQ food with an amazing smokey flavour. Completely unique to the area and great fun for a special occasion. Very good service, not cheap but still good value.

Well worth a visit to The Smoke Pit, Northampton if you are a meat fan. I can recommend the pulled pork which comes in a bbq sauce and melts in the mouth. I added beer batter onion rings, sweet potato fries and a dessert and was not disappointed. Service was friendly and prompt, although some tables are quite close together. Nice relaxing feel, it really is about the great food. Portions are generous, but never fear as staff are happy to package any leftovers for you to take home. I will definitely be visiting again to try some else on the menu. Hope you enjoy the food as much as we did.

Amazing food, maybe don't get a started so the main can be fully enjoyed or share one (share the nachos) but it is definitely one of the best restaurants in town.

Booking process was fine and we immediately got our table on arrival. Was given our menus and drink order taken. Food was ordered quickly and food arrived shortly after. From there it goes down hill chicken wings where awful and tasted of Tabasco sauce, prawns in batter were plain and bland. Pulled pork served with bread, carrot, gherkin was standard tasted like the chopped up carrot and gherkin had been round a while. chicken burger was ok. Smoke platter was fine. We then asked for the dessert menu no one came back within 15 minutes so we went to the bar and asked for the bill. Only to wait another ten minutes to pay. I wouldn't of minded but it wasn't even busy. With only two girls acting as waitresses, 2/3 men just standing on the front door who only walked round all night and into the bar. No idea what there role actually was other than sit people to there tables And one girl working in the bar. I don't really rate this restaurant.

Really nice food, had the meat platter which was more than enough for two. This is not the sort of place where you need to worry about having a starter!

Lovely food. Huge portions. Good service. Kids said the drinks machine was amazing. Loved the seeet potato fries. Puddings looked good but unfortunately couldn't fit one in!

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is plentiful and delicious. I cannot comment on the desserts as I was too full to even try them but I will the next time I go and there will be a next time definitely. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable visit.

A nice well lit airy place to eat so you don't feel hot and sticky while eating their gorgeous food, good value for money. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Well recommend.

Overall we were very disappointed with the food and service. My first impression was not great when I had to wipe the last customers food off my chair before I could sit down. My husbands prime rib of beef had a massive chunk of uncooked fat in the middle and it was served very rare, which he was not expecting. My pulled beef was over seasoned and tasted extremely salty. So much so I couldn't eat it. Also the onion rings were served dripping in grease. We had no check back during the meal so I was unable to select something else to enjoy while hubby was still eating. After he had finished I was asked but by then it's too late and to be fair I'd been put off by what I'd had. We chose the restaurant for our anniversary meal, but will not be hurrying back anytime in the future.

Fantastic food, staff very attentive would definitely go back . Steak was cooked perfect , hubby had a platter and all on it was cooked perfect .

Unfortunately we had a bad experience, dead fly in my meal. Whilst they took it away and cooked a fresh one the customer service could have been better - all they offered us was 10% off our next visit.
