Very nice surroundings and the staff were lovely. As for the food; fresh local produce and beautifully cooked. A most enjoyable experience from walking in the door to paying the bill which was perfectly priced for what we had. Not rip off London prices just a very fair price for a lovely dinner. Will definitely return.
Lovely pub. Scotch eggs was amazing. Will definitely come back
Food was fabulous . Great setting and ambience. Service seemed to depend on the server.
Nothing to say, a bit noisy late in the evening.
Atmosphere, service , quality of the food and portions all more than anticipated. Wonderful! Highly recommend!
Great food, friendly staff, would eat there anytime. I highly recommend
Good food, ok but not outstanding service but 15% charge added anyway which is becoming the norm. We were seated at the back and it was very dark which I mentioned and was told they were following the instructions of the manager.
They have a very good lager called Windsor and Eton, I really enjoyed that
Very good! Great customer service and good food. Thank you.
The service and the food were amazing... Coming back next week..
Food was ok. Service was terrible. Don’t think I will return.
We had the three course lunch menu which was great value.
Étant Canadien, je devrai malheureusement patienter pour y retourner. Nourriture et service d’excellente qualité 😀
Amazing dinner, friendly service. Would come back next time I am in London
went for a traditional Sunday roast which was very good. I do wish they had mentioned that the water was not free as that is what we Americans are use to but not a huge deal
Great food and atmosphere, well worth a visit to sample.
The restaurant, food, and service were all very good. Unfortunately the restaurant did not have our online reservation. I don't know if it's a google or restaurant issue. Luckily we were able to get a table when we arrived.
Beef was sinewy, when informed staff they apologised but no offer of discount. Main meal could have been a little hotter. Nice veg and roasties. £25 is expensive for the amount of veg given
Lovely friendly welcome, nice food reasonably priced and great English wines
Overall it was an ok experience. Would have preferred the beef wellington in the Christmas menu instead of the vegan version. Dishes were served a bit too fast ,felt a little rushed. Very overpriced for the small portions. Staff was courteous.
Amazing Sunday Roast with Turkey, Yorkshire Pudding, delicious carrots and parsnips, and crisp roasted potatoes...DELISH! The Eton Mess was terrific, and so was the Sticky Toffee Pudding!
You only get a top score when it is free
Reservation didn’t work but they sat us outside and that was fine.
Nice atmosphere, regional, delicious and very friendly😊 A good choice!
Prompt service, music a little loud (but turned down on request)
The atmosphere was great. The food was even better. Excellent service. Definitely deserves a repeat visit.
Avec sourires et efficacité, des plats de qualité servis dans un cadre typique et un peu « club », bref, excellente adresse
Très bon restaurant dans un cadre très sympa. Plats excellents et vin très bons mais un peu chers. À recommander
First table offered was cold by door and did not feel part of the restaurant. I booked 2 weeks ago so I wasn’t a walk in and expected a better table.
Service dreadful, forget our food , had to ask to be Served for drinks, faulty towers would have been better
