I felt the waiter seemed preoccupied when asked questions. However i would say his service was prompt and accurate.
Meal Was good Atmosphere nice, beer a little pricey though
The staff are extremely welcoming and were engaged throughout our visit. We opted for the carvery and the food was plentiful with lots of choice ....4 clean plates later came the sticky toffee pudding with custard. From start to finish thoroughly enjoyed.
Perfect food and good friendly service Definitely worth a visit!
Food was great, good service and lovely atmosphere will be back next weekend.
Really nice place and spot on staff, I would definitely go back😊
We enjoyed our meal and would come again. Could do with better cutting knives for the meal and the ladies toilets were poor.
Had a lovely family meal out, although we had to rebook our reserved time as they had a few coaches of people coming in, the food was very good.
Good food. Good service. Welcoming friendly staff. Lovely place. Definitely recommend :-)
Atmosphere was good restaurant was clean served a good pint and the garden was lovely
Have dined here a few times (Sunday Carvery) Good service. Good food. Friendly and welcoming staff. Missing the Spanish Chef 😔 and his lovely smile.
Very busy with coach load but service was quick and friendly
Great food friendly staff and a garden for the kids to play in 👍🏻
Food was brilliant, we also even had a magician come over to our table to show us some magic which was great! My little girl loved that! Service was also brilliant
Had a lovely family meal (13 people) and the food and staff were lovely and very accommodating
Friendly welcome. Food poor.Loudish music. Would not go again. Unhappily a disappointment.
Always lovely food!! Cavary is amazing, also love the desserts! Great service every time
We've been here several times now and like the atmosphere, the staff and the food, also value for money.
clean tidy good meal and price. No problems good service
The food was fine but plates were cold, therefore food soon got cold. Shame as such a small thing like heating the plates let's the hole thing down.
A very nice warm welcome when we arrived service was prompt and very good food was excellent and the sticky toffee pudding was amazing overall we had a great experience and will be going back again and will recommend to family and friends 11/10
Sunday carvery was lovely incl. the pork crackling and the steaks perfect. 3-course is value for money, cannot fault portion size. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyable Sunday meal with the family
The Carvary was lovely very tasty and plenty off it, staff very friendly and helpful. The coffees and deserts were very nice as well very well presented
Picked the venue as website said carvery was available. When we got there No carvery. Big disappointment. This was our second visit. On the first visit we went for breakfast which wasn't being served either. Website shouldn't promise what venue doesn't deliver.
It was a great place to meet up with family. Staff very friendly and helpful. A relaxed atmosphere. Food ok. We had been before when we had the carvery which was great. That wasn't available on this visit which was a shame.
Reserved a table. Told to sit anywhere none of the tables were reserved. After 20 mins sat at a table, other guests gave us their menu so we could choose food. They hadn't been served yet and were there before we arrived. One server running around trying to do everything. After being there for 45 minutes at our table with a hungry 18month old and not even a drink order being taken. We left. Unfed and unwatered
Booked online and arrived 5 mins before booking. Told too busy and no table avialable. Waited at bar to at least get a drink. Waited for 15 and not served. Eventually told to just go and find a table and I will come and take you le drinks order. Found a sticky old food laced table. Waited another 15 mins and nothing. Tourist coach arrived and then became the priority. We eventually just left and nothing was said as the staff just watched us leave. Terrible service, Overcrowded and pointless reserving a table. I would not recommend.
Really good food, smaller lunch menu on a Sunday but still plenty of choice. Opted for the carvery, good portions. Extremely busy due to tourist coaches but staff managed very well. Would recommend booking prior to arrival.
Good for quick business lunch - staff willing but under trained and expected to over perform by carrying out many tasks. Cooking excellent and ambience constantly changing.
It was standard carvery fare at a reasonable price. The staff were most pleasant and very helpful. Would recommend the inn as a no frills venue for a nice pub meal.
It was very busy so glad we'd booked. Food was very good but although it was warm it would have improved the experience if the food had been hotter
Would of been a 6, but the service was a little slow to get to our table and to order. The rest of the meal was fantastic. Carvery is excellent and fresh!
Lovely carvery - food is plentyful. Friendly staff - very helpful. Beautiful Inn, nice decor and roomy. Love the Spanish chef, a very smiley chap, makes me smile😊
I have eaten here a number of times and whilst the carvery was to the usual high standard the same could not be said of the staff. Members of staff were clearly not happy and arguing, attitude towards customers and generally not able to deal with a high footfall of customers, to the point where i was ignored by a member of staff several times when trying to order dessert and pay the bill. Not what I expected to be honest.
Lovely carvery with friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. The meat was beautifully cooked, plenty of veg and the gravy was delicious. Reasonable price for a lovely meal
Lovely carvery, great deserts and a friendly atmosphere. Very reasonable prices especially with the loyalty scheme.
Excellent food and brilliant live entertainment. The singer was a 14 year old who got through to the surfer finals of The Voice Kids. A great night.
Turnt up at the Stonehenge in to be told that we couldn’t sit and eat as there was no tables for us even tho we bookies in line. Not happy as traveled 20 miles for food
Carvery looked tired and unappetising in the evening - looked left over from lunch. Chicken dish and steak pie dishes only average. Expensive for what it was.
Good quality food, very reasonable priced carvery/menu, great portion sizes, the staff are friendly and polite. Drinks not over expensive. Very welcoming atmosphere for all diners/drinkers.
