The Stonehenge Inn & Carvery

The food was served quickly and was hot but the chips had been pre-salted and they had gone over the top with it. The young man who brought our food needs a lesson in customer service although he was pleasant enough he clearly has no experience in waiting tables.

Really nice atmosphere , food was good but took along time for the food to arrive .the music was good too . Might go again.

The food and service were excellent. We have eaten at the Stonehenge Inn & Carvery numerous times and will be go there again. I would recommend it to anyone.

Carvery not very good , potatoes not very nice, however the meat was very nice. Bar staff were very inexperienced and did not know how to set the pump up to pull a pint of real ale as left the nozzle in the beer and when next pump was made it sucked the beer back up into the pump. Real ale not very good at all and ended up having to have lager instead.

We last visited on Mothers day and the food was better then, this time the veg was not so good roast potatoes not cooked enough and not so much choice

Very disappointing. We've been here before and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The menu has been changed and is very limited. They had no pie of the day. The Halloumi was microscopic, lettuce limp, onion dried up so it was sent back and replaced with crisp lettuce. Chips good. Steak grisly and chewy in places. Roast potatoes and parsnips on carvery hard. Meat good. Service OK. Tables sticky and generally grubby. Feels like standards have slipped considerably.

Great value and service. Food was tasty with generous portions. We ate early so restaurant was quiet when we arrived at 17.30 but was filling nicely by the time we left. We will be back.

Tasty carvery with lots of options for meat & veg. Great menu & good prices too. Staff lovely & friendly, advise booking for carvery on a Sunday it gets busy!

Best carvery around! Lovely staff, and lovely venue. Perfect garden for adults and children too! Brilliant magician to keep everyone entertained as well. Would highly recommend!

Lovely atmosphere and food, staff were pleasant and friendly. Had my mother's day meal here and it was amazing, even got a free glass of prosecco!!

Very enjoyable, food ordered from the menu was very good, carvery meat lovely, vegetables were slightly dry. Staff were very nice and helpful would definitely go again.

Great carvery, Loads of different meats and not all fatty meat like some nearby carverys offer. We left feeling very full and the wallet was nearly as full aswell due to it not being priced silly, Will be going back thats deffo.

Great service on a really busy Sunday lunch time. Staff extremely very welcoming to the children in our group. The carvery food is very good value for money. The large is huge! Roasts and veggies are constantly being replaced. Very happy with everything.

Great food, great friendly service. Fast and efficient with the added benefit of a table magician who is resident every other Sunday. The kids loved it

The staff were lovely, she constantly asked if we were ok and if we needed anything, and the food was delicious, it was my birthday and I had a lovely time. Will definatly go again

Very friendly. Good choice of food. Carvery great but some of our group didn't like the fact that the green vegetables were mixed -peas l, beans & broccoli altogether in one pot so hard to extract re veggies they liked.

I have eaten at the Stonehenge Inn & Carvery, please note the correct name, many times before. The food as usual was very good with plenty of choices at seasonable prices.

Poor attention to detail leading to mishap with a whole tray of drinks being poured over us. Staff left us to clear up spillage, not offered another table. Wet chairs left in restaurant by staff and not taken away. Replacement drinks not brought over, we had to ask for them a couple of times when they came the glasses had lipstick marks around the top! Food not up to standard fish and chips inedible, some food over cooked and tasteless. Poor service from inexperienced staff who did not seem interested or friendly.

Staff were lovely, but on this occasion was a little disappointed with the carvery, and also the food ordered from the menu. Have been here previously and food was better.

Good service and food was alright. They do a smaller portion on the carvary what we like, as the standard size is sometimes to big for us.

Had booked on line and was told there was no table,but we managed to get one.Food was good and service from other members of staff was good.Just the manager was very stressed and not happy that we booked on line and expected a table to be ready.

The food was great and really reasonably priced, the staff were friendly, the pub was nicely decorated and clean and generally had a great atmosphere. We even got free dessert! Couldn't fault the place and had a great night.

What is the highest mark, is it 6 or 1. I think it is 6.. Really good waitress welcomed us and served us well but the meal (the carvery ) was not very warm. Reccommend an available microwave for customers to use.

The whole experience from booking online to leaving completely happy was amazing. So easy to book, and our table was ready on arrival, even though we picked a very busy Sunday. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. The food was exceptional and more than ample. We had a choice of gammon, pork, beef and lamb (yes!! Lamb.) And to top it all, we enjoyed the wonderfully talented magician's entertainment at our table just as we finished our meals. Thanks to all the staff who made our visit thoroughly enjoyable. We'll be back!!

There was good service good good but they did not have the table set up for us do we had to wait about 5 minutes

5 star service - thank you, Nicky ! 😉 We had reason to celebrate as one of our party has just been given the all clear from cancer. The lovely meal (green vegetables, yay!) and excellent service contributed to our happy time. Will be back.

I had a very tasty burger with bacon and blue cheese. Good beer by Stonehenge brewery (Netheravon). Staff friendly and helpful. The online booking system seemed to work well.

Brilliant food as always. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The only downside was ordering at the bar- it was very busy and the bar is quite small. Overall very good though.

Generous helpings of meat with a good selection of vegetables and the little ice cream at the end rounds things off nicely. Neither my first or last visit.

Good value as breakfast was included. Bedroom was nice, large tv, plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits etc. The bathroom was in dire need of redecoration and the shower cubicle was pretty dirty around the edge with black mould.
