The Stonehenge Inn & Carvery

I have eaten at the Stonehenge Inn & Carvery, please note the correct name, many times before. The food as usual was very good with plenty of choices at seasonable prices.

Poor attention to detail leading to mishap with a whole tray of drinks being poured over us. Staff left us to clear up spillage, not offered another table. Wet chairs left in restaurant by staff and not taken away. Replacement drinks not brought over, we had to ask for them a couple of times when they came the glasses had lipstick marks around the top! Food not up to standard fish and chips inedible, some food over cooked and tasteless. Poor service from inexperienced staff who did not seem interested or friendly.

Staff were lovely, but on this occasion was a little disappointed with the carvery, and also the food ordered from the menu. Have been here previously and food was better.

Had booked on line and was told there was no table,but we managed to get one.Food was good and service from other members of staff was good.Just the manager was very stressed and not happy that we booked on line and expected a table to be ready.

Good service and food was alright. They do a smaller portion on the carvary what we like, as the standard size is sometimes to big for us.

What is the highest mark, is it 6 or 1. I think it is 6.. Really good waitress welcomed us and served us well but the meal (the carvery ) was not very warm. Reccommend an available microwave for customers to use.

The food was great and really reasonably priced, the staff were friendly, the pub was nicely decorated and clean and generally had a great atmosphere. We even got free dessert! Couldn't fault the place and had a great night.

The whole experience from booking online to leaving completely happy was amazing. So easy to book, and our table was ready on arrival, even though we picked a very busy Sunday. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. The food was exceptional and more than ample. We had a choice of gammon, pork, beef and lamb (yes!! Lamb.) And to top it all, we enjoyed the wonderfully talented magician's entertainment at our table just as we finished our meals. Thanks to all the staff who made our visit thoroughly enjoyable. We'll be back!!

There was good service good good but they did not have the table set up for us do we had to wait about 5 minutes

good food, slow service though. food was cooked beautiful, and tasty. puddings to share are huge and jam filled with exactly what is said. drinks

5 star service - thank you, Nicky ! 😉 We had reason to celebrate as one of our party has just been given the all clear from cancer. The lovely meal (green vegetables, yay!) and excellent service contributed to our happy time. Will be back.

I had a very tasty burger with bacon and blue cheese. Good beer by Stonehenge brewery (Netheravon). Staff friendly and helpful. The online booking system seemed to work well.

Brilliant food as always. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The only downside was ordering at the bar- it was very busy and the bar is quite small. Overall very good though.

Generous helpings of meat with a good selection of vegetables and the little ice cream at the end rounds things off nicely. Neither my first or last visit.

Good value as breakfast was included. Bedroom was nice, large tv, plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits etc. The bathroom was in dire need of redecoration and the shower cubicle was pretty dirty around the edge with black mould.
