The Tiroler Hut

It was a funny night out. Totally crazy in fact, with all that bell ringing. The menu is very German though and not necessarily Austrian, other than the obligatory Schnitzel or Kaiserschmarren. Food was good. I’d go again if in the area.

Amazing evening: unforgettable. Bizarre but good! Loved the food and beer. Live music to keep everyone singing along. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone for a fun evening with good food and brilliant atmosphere

What a fantastic evening!! Great fun and a very entertaining atmosphere. As close to the classic Tirol experience as you will find anywhere in London.

It is an amazing restaurant with a very cosy atmosphere. The owners really skilfully entertain their customers while they are enjoying the excellent diner. We highly recommend this lovely restaurant!

Friendly staff, good food and drink and enjoyable musical entertainment. Lovely drop of Austria in London. I had the Bauernschmaus and my partner the Gulasch with Spätzle. Very tasty! Some Stiegl beer and an Almdudler went well with the meal. Finishing with the Apfelstrudel which was very good. Would recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic German food in a funky Austrian atmosphere! The live German music and Joseph the proprietor playing the cow bells is so amazing. Go after 8 for the best time.

I do not know how this restaurant has been given high ratings. The food was horrible, it was over salted, the kaze spaztle was a glutinous good with no taste. We won’t go back.

I ordered Beef Broth soup as a starter and this was very tasty. My main was the Tirol peasant dish, basically lots of different meats including sausage and black pudding on top of a far too small bed of sauerkraut with two pots of mustard and horseradish. As a dessert we had Apfelstrudel and ice cream. The strudel was very good but the ice cream seemed to be a very cheap variety with lots of ice crystals inside, the kind you get in a discount supermarket. The stein beer was not very nice at all and would not order again. Cheap tasting but costs £11. Quite an expensive place and the table was a very tight squeeze but atmosphere was good, although a little dark, and the staff were very attentive. Would try again.

As a family we love going to Austria for the great food, hosptilaty and fun living and this is exatly what we got at Tiroler Hut. We look forward to returning.

Absolutely loved it- the food was excellent, drinks in abundance, and the athmosphere 😉 of tirolien music 🎶 completed all. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Traditional food, great service. And super fun as always and they cater for big group (we were 12!). I would be back again during octoberfest, for sure!

Fantastic staff and atmosphere and the food was amazing. Restaurant gets a little noisy once it has filled up though, so it was hard to hear each other talk. Other than that I would definitely recommend it.

If you've never been to the Tiroler Hut, go! If you've already been there, you know what I mean! Fantastic place! Wonderful people, wonderful food, wonderful ambiance! Great night out! The owner, Joseph, makes it very special with his singing, sax, keyboard, and especially cowbells! I've been going there for 19 years and love it every time!

The food is very low quality, not like it used to be before. Clearly its made for tourists while for this price you would expect quality austrian food. Quite dissapointed!

Amazing evening with great Austrian food excellent attentive service and great entertainment The food was delicious and tasted like home (I am from Austria) great variety of different dishes available at a fair price and as well good drink selection The staff was very welcoming attentive and friendly. An unassuming entry door leading into a sample of the Austrian lifestyle with a taster of their local cuisine and music. Hospitable staff and homegrown philharmonical entertainment by the very endearing owner makes you feel as having stepped momentarily into the frivolous world of the alpine people and leaves you with a lasting sensation of an elevating high only an onsite holiday would give you which makes it a worthwhile experience and very commendable!

Great atmosphere, fantastic entertainment, amazing food. Highly recommended. You don't feel like you're in London, it gives you Austrian mountain experience. Feels like everyone knows everyone. Perfect place to come and have a good beer, lough and chill.

Good food and atmosphere. Service was a bit slow but understandable as every table taken. Try to get a table near the music booth so that you can see the cow bell performance.

We had an excellent evening. Most of the food was excellent but the steak and trout were rather disappointing. Schnitzel and gambas were fantastic though. The entertainment was convivial but the wine was very expensive.

Though I don't live in London, I've been going to the Tiroler Hut for the past 19 years every time I get the chance. Wonderful people, wonderful ambiance, and delicious food! The musical entertainment which the owner, Joseph, provides makes the experience unlike any other.
