Italian food is always a popular choice with the diners of Manchester, and for those living down in Heaton Mersey they have an Italian option quite unlike any other in the city. The Venetian of Didsbury Road offer delicacies from Venice, the hometown of their chef, especially in the form of cicchetti, the small plate specialities that anyone who has visited this most beautiful of cities will recognise. Was quite disappointed with our visit, didn't even look open when we arrived. Stood for a while to be seated. Restaraunt seemed very understaffed, and for the price of the food it wasn't the best quality. We've had better Italian food else where, with better service and greater atmosphere.
Lovely live music and good food. Different concept from traditional Italian restaurant, suits us because we like tapas style meals. We will definately come again.
Big party of 16 every meal was excellent my first event and it couldn't have gone better staff were so helpful! Lovely lovely restaurant with excellent food! Highly recommend this my new favourite local restaurant. Thanks guys well done!

The Venetian on Didsbury Road is a tribute to the home city of its owner, Paolo, and their food takes the form of cicchetti, small plates not dissimilar to tapas.
Alongside the cicchetti dishes, which change regularly, there is a full repertoire of Italian favourites on offer at The Venetian on Didsbury Road in Heaton Mersey.
