Main course was OK. The tempura vegetables were very oily and not cooked in tempura batter. The crispy duck spring rolls were good. Service was friendly.

Lovely food, service a little slow but good food makes up for it!! Would go again for sure. Can use tastecard too so becomes very cheap for a lovely meal.

This is a first rate restaurant an ideal setting for that special person or occasion and in such a great setting the staff all help to create the Thai ambiance' The food is delicious I highly recommend it.

Really enjoyed the lunch menu and the Thai food. We had a couple of drinks orders come out wrong but they were quickly corrected with the right ones.

A relaxed evening , we weren't hurried through the meal and the music in the bar was fantastic . Just a pitty there wasn't more people in the bar enjoying it . I would go again !

We are never disappointed when we go to the White Lyon and Dragon. The atmosphere is good, the food is brilliant and the staff are lovely.

Quite simply - terrible service!!! Food was not bad. But there are definitely some better Thai restaurants around Guildford and Woking. As mentioned the service was the worse I've seen in a long time. Firstly, we were greeted and taken to our table by the bar man!! The head or main waitress couldn't bothered to greet anyone it seems. After the food arrived the waitress didn't seem to want to serve our table properly. She consequently delivered our food and drinks at the end of table where we ended up serving ourselves! At the end of our lunch it seem to take a while for the bill to arrive. When the bill did arrive we were shocked to find a £6 discount. We mentioned this to the same waitress, thinking this was a apology for the lack of service. The waitress then suddenly said 'oh this is incorrect' and then disappeared. Only to return with an updated bill without the discount!! We were completely taken a back by this rudeness from the waitress. We all agreed that we will never return to this restaurant!!!

Lovely food swift service missed the Thai lady who normally serves me. Jungle curry and weeping tiger really good. My sister and I go regularly.

The service is always very good and the food is excellent. We visit the restaurant regularly and find that they cater very well for my egg allergy.

Good service and good food - what more can you say. All went as planned for a largish party and was enjoyed by all - We'll be back

lovely authentic food, great place, we went early before it got to busy, we will go back for sunday buy one get one free deal.

The food was absolutely wonderful and the service very pleasant and helpful. The setting is an old pub but the furnishings and décor is great. Full marks all round.

Service was slow and we had to wait for ever for our drinks. I noticed that the staff have changed since our last visit and this seems to happen a lot!

A very interesting pub/restaurant, friendly staff, nice selection of drinks from the bar, relaxed atmosphere, we had the Thai menu in the restaurant and the food was lovely. We plan on going back again in the future.

Extreamly poor food, bad service but nice bar and setting. Best visited after a few beers as the food is so poor.imwould not go again

The food was amazing as usual! I had grilled salmon with tamarind. That was very nicely done. Their roti channa bread was very nice too.

Excellent food, well priced, efficient, friendly service. Easy to book. used the Whyte Lyon many times - both sit in and take away - and have never been disappointed.

Food was amazing and we had chosen the pub because if this however I had a good food guide voucher on my app which I said about when I confirmed the booking (as advised by the app) however when we arrived and I told the staff, they said you had to print the voucher. It was disappointing especially as I was with a party of people who were expecting to receive 20% off. It put a bit of a downer on the day - I had graduated earlier in the day!

Its a nice restaurant in the semi-rural location of Worplesdon. It is part of a pub with a restaurant in the other half. Food was good as was service

Delicious food and excellent service. Food was served very quickly (starters and main finished within 1hour) however we ate early and the restaurant wasn't as busy. Would recommend to anyone who loves Thai food.

We had great food, as always, and decent sized portions. The service was reasonably prompt and the staff were friendly. One staff member took the time to chat at the end of our meal, making us feel like appreciated customers.

Booking process through Quandoo was very easy. We got our table right away and the waitress came to ask our drinks order. I asked for a couple more minutes to choose and she... rolled her eyes on me! And then took an eternity for someone to come. We shared Vegetable spring rolls, dim sum, Pad Thai and a wok dish. Everything was ok, but just ok. Flavors were plain, nothing special, nothing exciting throughout the whole meal.

Have been here a few times and the food is always delicious! The service very quick and the staff are always very friendly. Would recommend!

Everything was fine until we asked for the bill, my friend checked it and found we had been charged twice for a shared starter. She explained this to the waitress and after a long discussion finally agreed the bill was incorrect and amended it.

Excellent food and service as always; no matter how busy they are, they always take an interest in their customers, explaining the menu in detail if required.

First visit to The White Lyon and Dragon and we will definitely go again. We booked for 7pm and it got very busy from 7:30pm onwards. The food was very nice and the service was good too. We shared the Pak Platter of vege starters, then had a main each - I had Te panaeng curry - Chicken and my husband had a Beef dish of Pad Kratiem Prik Thai we shared coconut rice. Both dishes had lovely flavours, mine was slightly hot for the level of heat I like, but my husband ordered the am Pla Prik Fresh chilli to go with his. We wanted the pandan pancake, but they had sold out so we shared icecream of coconut, vanilla and almond, pistachio and cardomon.

Great food, great service, good prices. Went for daughters birthday.Ordered off both main menu and bar menu. Staff warm and friendly. Definitely going back again

The food was excellent but the service was variable. We felt that the restaurant was short-staffed and the staff could have been more attentive although they were friendly.
