Excellent meal can recommend this restaurant to every one staff very friendly and the food is outstanding best Indian food in the area well worth a try

Late night opening, conveniently close to the RSC theatre, excellent service and delicious food. Would definitely recommend as a post-theatre dinner. Customer service could not be improved. Thank you

Still one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. The taste and quality of the food is second to none. Could do with a little wider drink selection but otherwise brilliant. Wait for the wet towels at end...

Excellent customer service felt very welcomed. Food was very tasty,especially the prawn cocktail: chicken balti dopiaza: muttor paneer: and of course coconut ice cream. It was a pleasant start to the night out.

Delicious! Had bangladeshian starter, which was very good, mango lassie and a main course with lamb, fresh tomato and coriander, naan. Service was very friendly.

Good food and wine. Friendly staff and good service. Tables tend to be a bit small - there were 4 of us at a table for 4 with wine and when the food came, the table was so crammed that we had to shuffle plates around to move/pass things....this appears to be a universal problem in Indian restaurants though. Whenever we are in Stratford we will go back.

Very friendly staff good reasonably priced food. Atmosphere very good. Went with family for evening meal which coincided with River Festival so were able to see fireworks after the meal

We visited Thespians restaurant for dinner in September 2016. We enjoyed good food and reasonable customer service, but the restaurant and facilities are very dated.

Good service, very attentive. The food is of a good standard. The restaurant can get quite crowded when full but good fun. Overall very nice.

I always pop in here for a pre-theatre meal when I visit Stratford. The staff and food are always spot on. We eat a lot of curries and have to say that the food at Thespians is one of the best. I had a chicken Madras and my husband had a Rogan Josh, insisting it is the best he has had. Can't wait to return. Julie

The food was fantastic but the service was appalling. I've been to this restaurant on several previous occasions and the food has been consistently good but the service seems to have taken a bit of a nose dive.

The food was outstanding and the service was good also. One of the best meals we have had and will definitely return when we visit Stratford again.

Food was excellent. Waiters were helpful and attentive. Service was quick enough that we finished in plenty of time for our theatre performance but were not too rushed. Would recommend.

Great choice of dishes on the menu catering for all tastes. Wonderful food, great beer and excellent service. We will definitely visit again next time

Myself and my wife both really enjoyed our meal at the Indian restaurant. The food was fantastic, especially the cheese and garlic naan bread (to die for). We went to the same restaurant last year and it was just as good. The service was also very good and the staff were attentive. Definitely go back again next year.

First impression from outside was lots of dead plants in the windows, However, quite a small traditional indian restaurant, nicely laid . Good food and very friendly staff. Quite crowded and noisy but it was a Saturday night.

We came for a late evening dinner after the theatre. The restaurant was elegant, the atmosphere restful and the staff charming and helpful. We very much enjoyed our meal - especially the curried hake which we hadn't had before. An original and interesting menu, Thank you Thespians.

My visit to thespians was a very good 1,I would highly rocommend it to anyone who likes a good time out with friends having food

Always excellent service, friendly and helpful. Always nice clientele ie:no drunks or pond life. Excellent food, the best garlic naan bread Ive ever had. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.Consistently excellent

Good service, enjoyed the food. Venue a little dated but clean. Good location in Stratford upon Avon, just across the road from the theatre. Would go again.

Efficient friendly service to a late night party. Nice warm nan bread. Fairly average type food in the thali, not bad but not memorable. Will go back to try the full a la carte but so far a fairly average meal if well served

Food was great, the prices fair. Drinks a little expensive. The service was good overall but there was one server who annoyed me, looking away when I spoke to him and asked him questions. It's a tight fit in the restaurant also, cozy atmosphere. Friendly greeting and fairwell

Superb food and excellent service. I went to the restaurant with a friend before watching a play at the RSC and it was the perfect way to start the evening.

We had a lovely meal however the portions were not great and I came away feeling hungry. £83 with no starters or deserts for family

We had great food and service. This was my fourth visit and it has been first class every time. The staff also ensure that you have plenty of time if you let them know that you are going to the theatre. I do hope to go again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our curries, my wife had lamb keema, I had chicken jalfrezi. We were served quickly, our food was nicely presented, my only criticism would be the waiters, they marauded around the diners the whole time, I found that unnerving, usually waiters stand over to the side and if I need one, I just raise my hand and they come over. Other than that, the evening was a very pleasant experience.

As a group of 14 people we enjoyed a pleasant evening at Thespians, with good food, good service and would go back next time we are in the area.

Excellent meal and service was friendly and attentive this was my daughters first visit to an Indian restaraunt and they thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the overall experience. The discount we received because we had theatre tickets was a welcome surprise. Will be visiting again!

Absolutely fantastic i have eaten in several Indian restaurant's over the years but i can honestly say that this was one of the best ig not thr best just excellent

Fantastic food and quick service. A lovely, cosy restaurant and one of the best Indian meals I have ever had. The tables were a bit cramped which is why I have docked a point, but if you are looking for a cosy restaurant with delicious food then I can thoroughly recommend it.

Found them online as looking for a pre-show meal before attending RSC. Turned out to be a very friendly, popular restaurant with attentive staff and great service. On top of that they gave 10% discount when we showed our theatre tickets!

The food was excellent & staff very friendly & attentive . I would defiantly go again . It is somewhere I would take visitors to.
