Wonderful food but took along time to be served for food and drink the table behind us came in after us and got drinks served food ordered before anyone came to ask us other than that the place is lovely and food was good

Didn’t disappoint. Both me and my husband where very impressed. We will definitely be visiting again and will recommend to others

Was very disappointed by our visit, we waited an hour to get any food at all, and when it came my lobster needed a steak knife to cut. No concessions from staff or even bread offered for the wait!

Food amazing , staff provided an excellent service . Defo recommend and will be going back

Place was recommended but not up to standards I was expecting .i had ribeye asked for medium was rare had food in lot of better steakhouse hope you will look at steak chefs cooking skills as not up to standards I would expect.thankyou.✍️

The steaks were beautiful and very reasonably priced with the two sides. We had a Ribeye and a Wagyu Rump - honestly could not recommend this place enough. Great atmosphere, great food and a great value for money.

The starter (wagyu blackpudding croquettes) was disappointing - tasty but very small portion for the price. However the ribeye steak main course was first class.

Fantastic every time we eat here it’s better than the last!!! Staff are so friendly and attentive yet not annoying. Menu choice is great we especially like that you get 2 sides within your steak order which is rare. Wine/Cocktail list is great and easy to navigate also. We will Be back soon thanks Tomahawk

Such a shame, if the service had been as good as the food. We had to ask to order drinks, order food, order desserts and then after a 30 minute wait we asked where the desserts were - the waitress then walked paseed us again and we asked again, she said sorry I havent had time to ask yet! at this stage we asked for the bill and said we were leaving - one minute later we were told the desserts were ready! The desserts were removed from the bill without us asking but I'd have happily paid and received them in a timely manner.

Sunday lunch platter was exceptional, one of the best lunches I’ve had

Got seated straight away orders took, then waited 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive, the waitress kept looking over to our table seeing our drinks hadn’t arrived then did nothing, our starters arrived and we asked where our drinks were and a different waiter had to source them, the waitress then came over and asked where they were and made up some story about the till not working which shouldn’t affect someone pouring 2 drinks and then dealing with the till afterwards. We finally got our drinks as we were having the last bites of our starters. I then seen a 10% tip added to our bill and refused to pay the tip after waiting so long for drinks, to which the waitress tutted, stated it was company policy, and she was told I don’t care what it is, you can’t expect someone to pay an extra £10 for their meal when the service has been so shocking. I don’t see how every table other than the row of tables she was dealing with had no problems, but ours had till problems? It shouldn’t matter, the ticket is wrote down, give out the drinks and food etc and then deal with it. Also, the starters and drinks were on the same piece of paper so doesn’t make sense as to why the starters came but drinks didn’t. Enjoyed the food, hated the service. Reluctant to really return as had similar meals slightly cheaper, with miles better service by your competitor, Miller and Carter.

Was it cheap?, no but it certainly was good value as food was first class. You get what you pay for!!

Fantastic food and really good friendly and relaxed service. A desire when in Newcastle!

Requested a “medium” 10oz fillet, was served a “well done”, not so much as a hint of pink! We were seated in the “annex” where the background music was fairly loud in comparison to the main building. The staff were attentive and polite. Comparing Tomahawk with Miller & Carter, M&C rates higher for us.

Another excellent visit.. I think it’s the best Sunday dinner in town!
