Lovely anniversary visit, the food was great and the staff were very professional and friendly.

Very nice meal and nice atmosphere however expensive for what it is.

Didn’t receive food until 9pm when reservation was at 7.15pm. Staff were very apologetic and gave a discounted bill but the waiting time coupled with a rare steak when asked for medium was not at all satisfactory. This was a family celebration which was well and truly spoilt! Other tables were also disappointed with the service and food!!

Terrible! The waiting staff where so unorganised, took over an hour for our food to come out without anyone apologising too our table, we had to remind them 3 times we where waiting, they offered as an apology free bread!!!!!! 4 slices for seven people!!! Not that i want bread for my supposedly amazing eeally expensive steak, i could have gone to the supermarket and got better , will certainly not be going to get ripped off again

My husband and I shared the chambriton with beef dripping chips, bacon and peas, rocket, tomato and mushrooms. Absolutely fantastic. Cooked the steak just how we like it, stilton sauce was Devine. Rounded it off with a Tomahawk Bomb . . . Delicious

The food was fab when it arrived. Unfortunately we felt we waited too long for food to be served, over 2 hours for starter and main.

Unfortunately, electronic ordering system went down, but staff coped admirably.

1st visit to this place and I really enjoyed it. We came especially from Edinburgh as it was recommended by a friend, we weren’t disappointed. Possibly the best steak I’ve eaten. Will definitely go back again.

Got put on table on corner and it seemed a bit like out of site out of mind didn’t get offered water like other tables were asked how our food was almost immediately after giving it to us.

Starters lovely, steak sides amazing, asked for steak medium, came pretty much rare - disappointing to pay £25+ and not enjoy the steak...

Food was spot on only negative was the sirloin i got was very fatty and smaller than ones ive had before

Pleasant atmosphere and good food, but all in all a nice night out. If being super critical, side portions quite small for price and whilst multiple servers were polite and attentive, perhaps coordination of service delivery was too frequent. Good range of wines for wide and reasonable price range, however Gins seemed pricey! Keen to visit again and would recommend.

Amazing steak! We got the sharing 38oz tomahawk - wow! Really good service and the birthday boy even got a birthday brownie, lovely surprise. Great night and can’t wait to return!

Staff were lovely and couldnt be faulted however food was a little disappointing. My partner got the half lobster and there was minimal meat on the lobster, £25 is a lot to pay for a finger size of lobster potatoes and salad. Steak was nice and worth the money but £3 for a sauce on the side is extortionate. Unfortunately we wont be visiting again.
