Another very pleasant visit - great atmosphere inside on a cold and rather dismal day.
Very busy but lovely atmosphere with abundant choices on the menu and great specials. Attentive and courteous staff despite being very busy. Pretty gardens despite the awful weather outside. Definitely worth a repeat visit
Lovely food and good service, highly recommend. Will definitely visit again.
Incredible as always. Perfect service, delicious food and great value for money! Thank you
We had the vegan nut roast on Christmas Eve. It was absolutely delicious. The cakes and muffins and tea that were coming out. Also looked very very inviting, however sadly I didn’t have any more room to taste them. Would very much recommend.
Very helpful when we arrived early. Food was served quickly and was really tasty and great value for money.
Always a treat to eat here. Wonderful food and the staff are always cheerful, helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend. 🥘
Lovely, tasty meal and great. Friendly service . Would recommend
The staff were very happy to help me and my family out with what ever we needed. The food was excellent as usual, and the cakes were amazing. Thank you very much for a lovely afternoon.
Staff so friendly and had a fabulous lunch and throughly enjoyed the grinch afternoon tea
Wonderful Christmas Menu We loved the Apple and Mincemeat Crumble!!!
Lovely location and good food . I will be back
Regular visitors, all year! Aways book to make sure we can have a table!! Wonderful outside in the sunshine!! Luv Luv Luv it there. Super Staff!! xxxxx
Lovely staff as usual, good food. Tables were just slightly too close to next one. They were busy and had to turn people away, but then a table reserved for 8 didn’t show up, that must be very frustrating for them.
A friend and I had a lovely roast dinner. For dessert we had a cream scone, the scone was fresh and warm, lovely clotted cream but the jam was cheap & tasteless, the worst jam I've ever had, this made the experience a bit of a let down.
We enjoyed are meal, but towards the end we were told that they wanted the table in 3 minutes for another larger group. No mention of this was made when we booked, or when we arrived, or at anytime during the meal. This spoilt what would have been a very enjoyable meal with excellent table service.
Disappointed with our cream tea. It definitely wasn't served with clotted cream, it was some kind of vanilla concoction!
I have been here many times and always enjoy it summer or winter. The cafe and gardens are fantastic. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is very nice. I have already decided to go back in the new year for a Sunday roast.
Lovely cream tea in pleasant surroundings. Would definitely recommend. Beautiful little church in the village.
We had a fabulous afternoon tea at Upwey Wishing Well. Beautifully decorated, amazing cakes and very friendly and welcoming staff.
Lovely atmosphere, helpful and cheerful staff. Lovely food. Will definitely be back for more.
Lovely experience all round. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was lovely
Lovely welcome, friendly service and excellent food as usual! Thank you.
An absolutely beautiful place with amazing cakes, friendly staff ... can't wait to visit again
Superb lunch with friends would recommend to all, make a booking :)
This is a magical place to visit, whatever the time of year. The water gardens are fascinating. The food was delicious, the service excellent, and the staff very friendly. (My one quibble was the pop music on in the background...but maybe that is just me).
When I book I can't fond an option to sit inside! I can only find outside anything else is hidden. We are always put inside, fortunately this weather. Ruth Neary. (Mrs.)
Visited with my auntie to this fabulous restaurant....we had a great lunchtime experience delicious food and drinks..
Nice lunch but had to send my main meal back as the meat was barely warm much better once heated properly it was all sorted quickly Thank you never been before but will be back
Had a lovely tea. Mum really enjoyed the candle and the extra cake. Thank you so much
Once again we had a lovely visit here. Friendly staff with great service and tasty cakes.
Thw wishing well is a regular eating place for us when we are in Dorset, Always an enjoyable experience.
Most enjoyable and the food and service was great . No too sure about letting digs into eating area though
Unfortunately there was a Halloween function on so there were lots of noisy children about (who kept leaving the door open) so the atmosphere was not as good as usual.
Quality really good Service and manner of service good, Sadly, you are being too adventurous in your advertising for holiday/ popular gimics such as the end of October / 1/2 term hol., upsetting those who live in the Village , through unavoidable lack of parking, so sad to hear ( I don't live in the Village, but have frequented the cafe over various owners)
It was very busy, but the service was still great.
Fantastic meal. All the staff were great can’t wait to come back.
Such a beautiful place to have tea and cake, and a wander round the gardens. Everyone we spoke to who works there was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back as everything looked tasty and wanted to try all the different cakes!
Charming restaurant with lovely outlook and friendly efficient service. Food was very good with a great choice for our saturday lunch and tea. Highly recommended.
Excellent service - home made food - good price - well recommended.
