Lovely food and lovely place. Would go back back, a little different to the standard Indian with lots of nice wine too. Portions were massive and having a starter and Main course left me completely stuffed

Best in Birmingham. Very polite staff, clean and food was amazing. Plenty on street parking around. A bit pricey but was worth every penny. I even left a 10% tip because staff were exceptional. Will be going back again!

Superb meal - really different and inventive menu. Well worth a special trip. Fantastic service throughout - and the food was top notch. Offers more than your usual curry house (and is hence a little pricier) but not pretentious at all.

Very good food , service and atmosphere. Disappointed to be charged for the dips provided with the popadoms even if it was just a pound.

Birthday treat for 4 people on a Tuesday night. Great food and service as usual, the jumbo prawn starters stealing the show! We will be back soon.

Great food and atmosphere, and the staff were good too. Still a little pricey though for an Indian restaurant, even if it is above your average Indian.

My first visit here and it was amazing. Lovely peaceful atmosphere in the restaurant, dim lighting and candles. Greeted warmly by (we assume) the manager who was just delightful throughout our night. Food was absolutely delicious. Just beautiful. Staff friendly and attentive. This has now become my favourite place to dine in Birmingham and I can't wait to go back.

Comfortable restaurant with very friendly staff and excellent selection. All the dishes we had were very tasty. Service was a bit slow but given how busy they were when we arrived this is understandable.

Despite booking, we had to wait 10 minutes for our table so take note for busy periods. However, once seated staff were attentive and courses speedy. The food was excellent and definitely worth the wait. The prawn puri starter was the best I have tasted and the spicy seafood bhuna and accompanying soft naan had just the right balance of heat and spice for my money. For 3 alcoholic drinks, water, poppadoms, 2 starters, 3 naan and 2 main curries, we paid £65 plus tip. Left a decent tip as we thought they offered great value for excellent food and definitely recommend.

Our sixth visit, the experience matched our anticipation. As usual, the food, service and atmosphere were excellent but the single most important component is the friendliness of the family members who run the restaurant.A great place, which happens to be located near a number of Birmingham's best pubs.

Another perfect meal at viceroy (must be our 6th)! When we visit Birmingham this is the only restaurant we visit, nothing else compares! We always go for a selection of side dishes to try a range of dishes, always of great quality and flavour. Viceroy really is a cut above the rest in terms of food and service. Our favourite Indian restaurant by far!

I looked up the best Indian restaurants in Birmingham as judged by Trip Advisor reviews and this came top of the list. I can definitely see why: lovely which is reasonably priced and a fantastic team who couldn't do enough for me. I'd highly recommend Viceroy if you're around Birmingham and fancy a proper curry.

Their chili garlic lamb curry was incredible, it's one of those dishes that you want to last forever! I would also recommend their Palek Paneer and garlic naan. I would definitely recommend Viceroy Tandoori... YUM!
