Really nice indian starters and mains, the restaurant is nicely decorated. Friendly service. When we arrived at our table we got served very fast. Would definately reccommend.
Excellent food, the staff and service was second to none and they made our special night amazing. We had a lovely evening in a warm environment with beautifully presented and excecuted food....DELICIOUS
Lovely evening, the atmosphere was great, the staff were really helpful and polite and the food all tastes great with beautiful presentation. The best Indian we've had in a long time, highly recommended!
Great food and attentive service. The restaurant has a lovely interior and despite being small, is not made to feel crowded. Food was served quickly but I didn't feel rushed to leave. Well worth a visit.
The service was great. The waiting time was minimal and the food was simply refreshing as if there was a garden/farm at the rear from which they picked/caught their produce. Simply wonderful!
The restaurant did a fantastic job of hosting a pre-wedding celebration banquet for my group of 30 people. The service was impeccable with good pacing of the drinks, nibbles with the drinks, and then appetizers and dinner. The food was delicious, authentic Indian -- a number of my guests said that this was among the best Indian meals they have had. My thanks to the entire restaurant staff and owners for such a wonderful evening!
Great food and great service. Staff really helpful when explaining the menu too. Felt like you weren't rushed which was great for dinner with friends.
Excellent food in tasteful surroundings. First class service. Slightly pricey but definitely worth it. Would certainly recommend and will definitely be going again. Big thumbs up!
Excellent! Staff were friendly and attentive, food was full of flavour and plentiful. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We didn't feel crowded or rushed at all. Superb experience.
This is without question the best curry house I have been to. The service was friendly, quick and really helpful. The food was out of this world. The chicken fell apart with a knife and and folk yet, somehow it remained loverly and moist, with great flavours to go with it. There is no question as to wether I would go again great place, great staff, and well priced.
Très calme, cuisine délicieuse et avec un accueille chaleureux! Ne pas hésiter à découvrir malgré qu'il soit un peu éloigné du centre. Merci pour cette belle soirée!
There was quick service and a delicious chicken tikka masala and naan bread, easy to book and lovely inside, I will definitely be visiting again
Excellent service no hanging round for the food. Pleasant and polite staff. Nice atmosphere The food was excellent served quickly and hit. Will definatly go back.
Excellent meal.Nice varied menu.Excellent service and nice atmosphere. I have ate at Asha's and Lasans and this is probably better.Well worth a visit.Easy to find.
Beautiful food, all excellent. Wine List great, simple and decent value. Service was prompt, and most importantly, food was top quality. We will be back.
Great! Very friendly obliging service. Open kitchen, great food (prawns are fabulous)! A gem in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter! It is Advisable to book as always busy..!! Will be going back for more next week..!!
When we book a table over the phone for 12 people a month in advance, please tell us at that point that we must order the tasting meal at 25 pound per head, not when we turn up on the night. NOT IMPRESSED !! To say that it's clearly stated on the website is not acceptable when we booked over the phone !! Having said that the food and service was very good but the damage was already done and was unforgivable.
great food and service, didn't feel rushed. We will book again as its a one of the best restaurants around. Very good value for money could of charged more.
We never attended Viceroy Tandoori, as we were telephoned by Viceroy and told they only had a set menu for this night at a cost of £27.00 each. The people in the party did not want a set menu. we wanted to be able to choose our own food. we were very disappointed. We have eaten there in the past and the food was excellent.
Excellent food, staff super friendly. Highly recommended! The restaurant gave a feeling of cleanliness. The owner recommended us food to try and we were very satisfied with his recdomandations.
A superb curry - really great service and amazing food. Highly recommended - I'll certainly be visiting again! The chef's special starter is brilliant. Looking forward to going back in the very near future.
Really super evening. Great food and service. The two guys who were serving had good knowledge of the ingredients and made sure the meal was gluten free!
Excellent food, well cooked. Attentive service, good portion size. The fresh fish starters were particularly good. Not many tandoori dishes on the menu - a tandoori mixed grill would be a good choice!
Amazing restaurant, really authentic delicious food and the best service I've had so far in Birmingham. I'd definitely recommend this place and will be going back soon!
Very welcoming restaurant with high levels of quality and cleanliness . The quality of food was outstanding and within our group of 4 we shared our dishes so tasted the chicken , prawn and lamb dishes that were all flavoursome. Will definitely return in the future.
We were all very impressed with the food here.. A wide range of dishes including many fish ones.. Plenty of space & good service & ambience.. Recommended.
What a FANTASTIC restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing! The owner / waiter provide simply the best service you could ask for. Love it and couldn't recommend it enough.
lovely restaurante food was excellent the best indian i have had staff where also very nice would definitley come back if i return to birmingham. A.johnston Liverpool.
Visited with family on a Saturday evening. Was busy but staff were generally on top of things and service was good. Food choice was excellent and all of the dishes we had were delicious. Would certainly come again on our next visit to Birmingham.
Excellent food and very friendly staff will be going there again soon, highly recommend for anyone thinking of going for the first time, 10 out of 10
The welcome was pleasant, reservation for 6 was recognised, table was ready, service was good and all the food very good. Overall a positive experience and we would cheerfully go again.
Wonderful food and fantastic staff. We had a lovely evening here and would highly recommend. I had the monk fish for a change and it was cooked beautifully. My husband had lamb and that melted in your mouth. If we find ourselves in Birmingham again we will be back.
One of the best curries I have ever had, in smart, modern, airy surroundings, served with charm and considerable expertise. The maitre d'hotel was most helpful, adapting dishes to suit our preferences - a must visit when I'm next in Birmingham, many thanks.
Best curry we've ever had! You pay a little extra but the quality is superb. Many different dishes on the menu, we can't go into Birmingham without paying a visit!
Travelled from Henley as a recommendation from a colleague at work and was not disappointed. Fantastic restaurant. Very pleasant proprietors and the food was just amazing. Will be back again for sure.
Food was lovely, service was below par - I would like to revisit to see whether this was a one off or not, but I certainly wouldn't rate it as one of the top restaurants in Birmingham
A great restaurant , food was a different level of quality and flavours, probably the best Indian I have had. We will be back when next in Birmingham.
Great modern restaurant. Exceptionally clean. With regard to food, starters were great, reasonably priced drinks but average curry dish. I selected a spinach based curry which was obviously made from frozen spinach and really lacked flavour. My wife was also a little disappointed with her curry dish. I would visit again but probably try the classic curry dishes.
Sweetcorn in a Dhansak? ...and the 'Old School' dish consisted of 3 bits of chicken served in Heinz Cream of Tomato Soup' (yes I do know that the original UK Tikka Masala dish was born from the same idea but for £13 I expect something that has evolved somewhat). Poorer than Lasan, and that is no mean feat. :/
Excellent service, food was superb. Everything was hot and the meat was beautifully tender. The tandoori lamb was the best thing I've tasted in a long while
