Viceroy Tandoori

Best onion Bhajis I've ever had, king prawns were awesome too (I'm not much of a fish person!) and mains were excellent too. In fact probably the best curry I've ever had. Cleanliness very good, you can see them cooking he food and the smell when you walk past the kitchen just makes you want to order more and more. To top it all off they even served my favourite beer, Asahi!

Introduced by sister and brother in law to this great restaurant. Needless to say they loved it. Excellent as always. Particularly the Chefs special starter. Great service also.

Exceptional service pleasant and clean surroundings and lovely food at a reasonable price all served quickly. we will definitely be going back even though it will be only twice a year.

The staff where great the food was fantastic , service spot on what more do you want ? . We arrived an hour early and they still managed to fit us in a very busy restaurant . Highly recommended . Just go .

Had a meal with 4 friends. Nice decor, a little more upmarket than your traditional balti house. Good food but not exceptional, decent service and the bill was reasonable. would return.

Lovely food, attentive service! Made welcome from the very start. Only criticism is that a few of the dishes were a little bland and overly sweet for our tastes. Plenty of food though and this wouldn't put me off visiting again.

Restaurant had brilliant atmosphere, lovely setting with attentive staff. Food was astonishingly good - probably the best curry I have ever eaten! Would definitely recommend.

Great food, particularly the mixed starter! Was very sceptical before I went although had read the reviews which were very positive. A bit pricey but in my view well worth a visit!

Booked the Viceroy on a recommendation of a friend and wasn't disappointed - Monday night and the food was really fresh and full of flavour. Excellent customer service, the owner and staff made us feel really welcome. The house starter was beautiful. So nice that we are returning on Saturday with friends.

Very friendly with good atmosphere. Starter was brilliant. Very enjoyable. Main was rather disappointing with chicken and lamb both overlooked. Otherwise very good. Will go again.

We enjoyed another excellent evening at this restaurant.The food is first-rate and the service is friendly,intelligent and efficient.There is a buzz about the place which is more often found in London restaurants and makes for a great time.

Great food and service one of the best indian meals I have had in ages, only two small negative points , the table of 4 opposite appeared to have to wait a long time for their main courses and had to ask on 3 occasions although they were very patient about it, at the same time we had to remind someone for our bill on 2 occasions. Not issues that would put me off going again or recommending to others. Best to book, we did and were glad as all tables were taken and this was on a Thursday.

This is a nice enough restaurant and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was ok but didn't blow me away and whilst it is applaudable that there are different menu choices from your usual indian restaurant I didn't feel compelled to come back soon.

The four of us all really enjoyed our meals. There are plenty of choices including many fish dishes. The restaurant is clean and there's a nice atmosphere. The staff are very friendly.

Another great night at the viceroy.This time it was for my wife's birthday and the food,drink,service and atmosphere was once again exceptional.I would highly recommend this place

Great table service and great food. Been a few times and enjoyed it every time. I've recommended it to friends who say the same. The fixed menu is really really good.

Both the food and the service were excellent. Our host was very friendly and knowledgeable and recommended the mixed tandoori starter which could just about be the best I have ever eaten. Pickled ( yes - pickled) chicken bhuna main course and Nan bread was fantastic.Probably one of the best curries I have eaten in a long time.

This is a very fine restaurant. The food is sublime, the room is elegant and the service unrushed. The added bonus was sitting next to the window to the kitchen.

Fantastic food and service. One of Birminghams tiniest no doubt a real treat. Would recommend anyone to try this restaurant. The lamb chilling and garlic was excellent. All of us felt the same.
