A bit slow to attend to us for drinks initially, but after that the service was good. Ran out of some beers part way through the meal. Food very good

Visited on a Saturday evening, having previously eaten here midweek. Much busier this time but the food and service were of the highest standards on both occasions. The whole experience was a pleasure. Well worth the journey out of the city centre. Will be back next time we are in Birmingham.

Everything about this restaurant is superb,the staff are friendly and very efficient the food is divine without being vastly overpriced like certain other places we know,give it s try you won't be disappointed.

Very friendly service. Loved the imaginative menu as well as the traditional curries to choose from. The monkfish with a lime coconut curry sauce was delicious. Highly recommend Viceroys in a city with many Indian restaurants to choose from.

Nice clean venue, good food and nice atmosphere. Will dine there again in near future. Small restaurant but overall very professional and quality food. Value for money

I've visited Viceroy Tandoori on several occasions and this time was no different. Excellent service and food. Can not fault the food and I recommend this restaurant to anyone who will listen to me! Excellent wine list too! Perfect meal out.

Good quality food for reasonable price. Good ambience and service. We tried the onion bhajee, cabbage dumpling and aloo gobi. They were all quite good.

Pleasant surroundings, an interesting menu which delivered on its promise. Also a good wine selection which was not too overpriced. Service was excellent. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed the food, it was absolutely delicious. Definitely would go there again, me and my misses had an excellent night. The waiters and waitresses were very polite and we had good service.

The Viceroy has a simple contemporary feel. A good selection on the menu but not too large an you can see that everything is freshly prepared. Reasonably priced and the portions are generous without being over large. Nice atmosphere and a good location but you may need to check your google maps if you don't know the Jewellery Quarter. Well worth a visit and do book as it gets busy.

I thought the food was great and service was fantastic. Wanted a private evening with the missus and didn't disappoint. Would definitely recommend to all.

Really enjoyable. The restaurant is nice and bright, large enough tables for all the dishes that come with a curry; you can see into the kitchen from the dining area and watch the chefs cook. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Interesting menu with classic dishes and some a bit different. My dish had huge pieces of chicken in but I thought it was a tad over cooked making it a rather dry. Good quality ingredients used for everything though. Annoyingly another table of six decided to stand in the doorway smoking for twenty minutes at a time and the smell wafted into the restaurant which was unpleasant! Overall though, a lovely place for a meal.

The Viceroy Tandoori always provides excellent quality and service. I highly recommend this restaurant, whether it's for an 'ordinary' meal or a special occasion. Well worth a visit.

Great food and lovely staff. Best curry house in Birmingham so we would not go anywhere else. We were a party of 12 and they managed perfectly.

Great food and service. Couldn't fault anything. A great Bangladesh prawn starter with fantastic flavours and a lime and coconut chicken main with pilau rice and garlic naan. Restaurant was busy from around 730 onwards but it didn't affect the service

Great Service and very good food: the tandoori king prawns were very good. The ratio quality price is good and we will surely come back.

A nice spacy seating arrangement where families could talk freely, very experienced and polite staff and there is no match to food. I have been visiting restaurants for the last 50 years I have had never so much tasty food before bit expensive but all good things cost money. I am really proud of having such a quality restaurant In Birmingham. I will definitely go again and make sure I am hungry because of the rich quality and quantity of the food served. All I can say is we dined there on the 6th August for the first time, the staff are the very best, they are so friendly and helpful, the food was so very tasty and plenty to fill you, we had such an enjoyable evening we stayed long after the other diners had left and the staff were great, the restaurant is very clean and spacious between each table, and we were made to feel very comfortable, we really look forward to booking again, big thumbs up to the staff, excellent restaurant 10/10

Food was lovely. Drinks are a bit expensive though. They were very busy and were turning people away who hadn't booked. We will definitely go again.

This was our second visit, and we were much less impressed than the first time. The service was professional and very polite, but slow - it took quite a while before our orders were taken. Our biggest problem, though, was that all of the food tasted much too sweet!

Great food, lovely staff. 22 had a fab evening! The wine was also good. Popadom sauces excellent and the prawns are huge. I would definitely go again.

Excellent restaurant - food was everything you wanted it to be - hot and tasty. Would definitely return there and recommend it highly. Staff were pleasant at all times and the restaurant was busy - surely a good sign!
