Vini Italiani is where London’s biggest wine lovers and gourmands convene for incredible gourmet food and drink, superb service and a selection of wine that includes over 500 labels. As London’s very first wine bar and store dedicated solely to Italian varietals, Vini Italiani on Old Brompton Road in South Kensington is something of a legend, paving the way for other competitors to follow. Owing to its popularity, Vini Italiani opened up a second location in Covent Garden, where guests are treated to the same outstanding service they’re used to here at the South Kensington branch. In September 2017, Vini Italiani opened a third venue in Greenwich peninsula, a few steps far from the Cutty Sark, quirky markets and Royal Heritages. Featuring two enomatic tasting machines, a sleek menu of taglieri (Italian food platters) and incredible desserts, you’ll have plenty of incredible flavours to sample when wining and dining at Vini Italiani – book your experience in advance!
Fantastic selection of Italian wines and traditional charcuterie and cheese of the best quality, cool atmosphere and stylish crowd! The parmigiana and the porchetta were superb. Service is warm, knowledgeable and attentive. A must for aperitivo time or dinner in South Kensington.
best for Italian wines in London. Simple food - breads, salame, hams, with a vast choice of good wine comparable with anywhere outside Italy. Knowledgeable, friendly service by Italian nationals.
great, friendly service. Perfect selection of Italian wine. Simple food so concentration on the wine helps the experience of being there. Lunchtime best as not full.
I took my wine aficionado father there for his birthday and he really enjoyed it, lovely food and fabulous wine friendly staff and good decor
Wonderful wine, delicious cheese and Parma Ham. I strongly recommend Vini Italiani. Salads are also great. Enjoyed everything about the place, but if you want to have something to eat, better stay downstairs where tables are bigger.
Service was very good but wines by glass was poor as was the food, platters of a few slices of meat for £16! Toasties were just bread and no filling. They can do better as overall amazing wine selection
Great selection of wines. Met some friends for aperitivi. Attentive service good food and overall a very happy experience
my experience: poor service, very expensive but excellent wine. Doesn't really seem to be set up as somewhere to enjoy a drink, more of a professional wine tasting environment
It was a fancy wine bar and the waitress didn’t know the wine list whatsoever. Hopeless ! A real shame given the extensive wines. Pity
