Lovely atmosphere, great food and good service, easy to get too and local convenient parking.been several times and will be going again. So see you soon
The food was very good, however. two issues for us. Firstly, we found the background music too loud and obtrusive at times (it was Jazz which neither of us like which might have something to do with it). Secondly, a little staff attention may be required, we were asked if we would like desert before we'd even had our main course!
Extremely good food. Nice atmosphere meant we felt comfortable. Helpful staff, well catered. Clean. Could use a wider choice of cocktails and desserts. Could also identify current deals, incentives when taking the order.
This was our first visit here. At first we thought the service was a little slow and were concerned as we were on our way to a show, but once our order was taken, we were pleasantly surprised at how quick both our courses were serviced. Lovely food, we'll be back!
Went with a party of friends for lunch a great value meal. A good varied menu choice. The food was delicious served promptly and piping hot. Very pleasant staff.
The food was very good but the service was a bit hit & miss. We could have done with a drink while looking at the menu but the drinks & starter order were taken together. We hadnt ordered our main courses & they wanted to take that order when they brought the starter. We ended up ordering after.
Nice food, cool decor. Kids ate free which was a great offer for the Easter weekend. Service was ok - bit slow to take our orders and brought mains before clearing starter plates! But only minor issues.
Lovely meal delivered very quickly and food piping hot would definitely visit again Home made carrot soup was delicious really creamy and tasty. Carbonara was perfect consistency and full of chunks of bacon
Excellent service. Very good menu choice and 2/3 course very good value. The cod dish on the 2/3 course menu was beautifully cooked - only downside being a few too many carrots - would have scored a perfect 6 otherwise. Interesting to watch the chefs preparing the meals. Would definitely recommend a visit
Would have rated 6 apart from location of the table. We were sat in the window and there was a cold draught coming in when the door was opened which became apparent when we were the only diners left in that location. We will visit again and request a seat elsewhere. Food was excellent and service second to none
Lovely food good service was very quiet though which was a shame but didnt spoil our evening Only my 2nd visit but would go again
The food was good and the staff were friendly and attentive. There was quite a long gap between our starters being served and our mains arriving.
Good food, good service, good value. Looked after us really well as my wife is in wheelchair at present Really helpful.. thank you very much
We had booked in advance for a meal before going to the Charter Theatre. We received a warm and friendly welcome, and enjoyed a two course meal of starter and a main course. The staff were attentive and our order was taken quickly and efficiently. Our food was cooked to order and served without delay. Be warned, however, portions are large so be sure to starve yourself beforehand! The restaurant has a very pleasant ambience, seating is comfortable with a superb panoramic photograph set into a window, giving diners the impression of being in a lakeside restaurant on the shores of Lake Garda. This was our first visit to The Villa Italian but we will return.
My husband and I had an excellent pre-show meal here last night. Food was lovely and very tasty. Friendly staff who couldn’t do enough. Looking forward to our next visit.
Staff was very efficient our food came out quickly and was excellent The flavours was the best we have ever tasted in an Italian restaurant
Great food. Very friendly and attentive staff. Pleasant surroundings and good to be able to see into the kitchen. Busy the night we went but it wasn't a problem. Last but not least the toilets were spotless.
This was our first visit to Villa Italian in Preston but it won’t be our last. It’s a great setting, especially love the picture window. The service and food was excellent, very pleasant experience
Everything as expected, lovely , thank you. We have also used the Southport outlet at the Bold Hotel, and your Preston and Southport are highly recommend
Meal and service very good but unfortunately we were seated near the door so we in a permanent draught as the outer kept sticking open
We had a great night lovely staff good value and delicious food....we will defiantly be going back! I will be using the theatre offer again!
A fantastic evening - the food was excellent - beautifully served and presented. Pleasant and willing staff which adds to the atmosphere. A great location, being in the Guild Hall complex with views of Preston's historical centre. I have spent much time in Italy during my lifetime and I can honestly say that this was one of the best Italian meals I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying in an Italian restaurant in the UK. I would strongly recommend The Villa Italian and plan to eat there again with friends very soon.
Great food. Good service. Great house wine. Our first visit and we will definitely be back. Quiet on a Sunday , but still a reasonable atmosphere.
Food really good, service was decent but it was just a bit cold in there! Need to sort that out, nothing worse than sitting in a draft.
Lovely food, lovely surroundings, friendly and helpful staff .. excellent value for money ... good choice on the menu 2 course or 3 course deal offers ... will be back on our next visit
Always good value, fabulous varied menu. Friendly, approachable staff. Will definitely be back
Less Quality food (I give 1) - Devil in details. Staff (waitress) very nice (I give 5). All toghether give 3. Me and my wife weren't satisfied. Thank you.
Friendly staff and good food ar a good price , could not fault anything . For anyone looking for somewhere to eat before going to the theatre , this is the place to co to

Excellent garlic bread, the best I’ve had Drinks a bit expensive like most Italian eateries Organisation for theatre night very good One really friendly waitress one not quite so
We went for the dine and show menu. The food and service was excellent. We cannot fault it in anyway. Thank you very much for the fast and efficient service.
Great experience, service attentive and friendly, sat by kitchen which can sometimes backfire but chefs were professional and relatively quiet. Food hot, fresh and tasty. Salmon fettuccini outstanding.
Servivce and food was excellent on our visit on the 15/02, the only downside was that whilst having a young child with us, there were no high chairs in the restaurant - for a city centre outlet that caters for children (even though our eldest chose from the a la carte) this was quite poor and obviously an issue from the other young children in at the same time and having to be pram fed!
Very small portions, especially for children. Pizzas ok. Expensive for what it is. However, the food served was very tasty. Not overly friendly. Decent ambiance.
A very good experience. The Staff were polite & friendly. \the Food was very good. One down side, the music was a bit loud, but thankyou
Pre-theatre fixed menu deal. Food good, excellent value. Restaurant was busy, is attractive and had a good atmosphere. Service was prompt, could have been more friendly. Bizarrely there was no salt and pepper on the table, nor were we offered any pepper, so we had to ask. A pleasant experience.
staff where very helpful and food was excellent great restaurant
Visited at the weekend for a hen party. The service was fast and the food was really lovely. Everyone in the party was impressed with their meals. Would definately visit again if ever around there.
Had pre show menu. Food was delicious fantastic choice & amazing service. Also great value if you pre pay when you book tickets for an event at guild Hall. Cost was £14.95 for 2 courses & small beer or wine.
Excellent food and service Would highly recommend and will return in the future Purchased voucher with tickets for the Guild Hall - real value for money
The Villa offered brilliant food, tasted great and good variety. Service was excellent and everything was reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere too. We will definitely be back.
Really nice food and atmosphere. Show and dine offer is very good value for money. Good selection of food on the menu - would definitely come again
The food was lovely. Good pasta and starters. The service was a bit slow and we wondered whether they were short of staff or just very busy.
Lovely restaurant and staff but I couldn't see much specialist food. No vegetarian dairy free, and gluten free dishes. Only one dessert that says dairy free which was the lemon sorbet. It was lovely but that was the only choice.
L9vely food and friendly service. The only issue was how long we had to wait for our drinks. We will be back again and have recommended to family
Lovely food, good plenty of choice on the menu and staff very friendly. Service was prompt - I would definately reecommend it. Good value too 👍
Decent meal. Would use again. Enjoyed the soup of day and penne dish. Service ok pace particular as full due to being pre show menu
Lovely food, very friendly staff especially supervisor Rosella, please give this restaurant a chance, their 2/3 course specials are cheaper than Angelos! Very clean dining area and excellent toilet facilities will definitely dine here again
Amazing food and the staff were very helpful and lovely
