Staff were abit abrupt and my meal came after a long wait which we should have been made aware off. My meal came and my flat bread was burnt to a crisp, we sent it back and the waitress came back to asked if I wanted anything else and I said I would like the same just not burnt. She came back out to say they would make me one from scratch which shouldn’t take long. However another 30 mins passed and my son and fiancé had eaten there dinner and then mine arrived. We received 20% of the bill however this wasn’t told to us we just got given the bill. I felt their was no empathy with the staff and we won’t be visiting again. We travelled 50 mins to go to this restaurant to be very dissatisfied .
Great food and social distancing measures in place and r respected
Friendly staff, good food, comfortable surroundings and clean too. Will definitely be back.
Worked really well. Think staff should perhaps wear masks when so close to customers. Overall excellent
Food was lovely really good value for money, service was great.
All round great experience in these strange times, we would come again and recommend.
Delicious food, promptly served. Nice oldy worldy stone pub. Amazing breakfast too.
Social distancing measures made the meal feel very safe but still enjoyable. Friendly staff - service was perhaps a little slow but everyone is finding their feet at the moment so no complaints.
Friendly! welcoming Staff and good food! Would definitely recommend & return.
Lovely food, great staff. Great beers. Nice overall pub to visit for drinks or food.
The steak pie was great. As was the beer. Service and layout was v organised under the new circumstances.
Brilliant, great service, fab food. Would definitely recommend if in Skipton.
Lovely food, excellent service and Covid 19 protection was really well organised.
Great to be back! Warm welcome as always, staff were working very hard but staying cheerful. It all felt very safe and clean. We look forward to the return of a full menu. Excellent steak and ale pie, interesting dessert with pancetta. Boltmaker up to usual excellent standard. Thank you all!
Socially distanced guides in place. One way system and no queuing at the bar. Staff were rushed off their feet but very calm, polite and helpful. Great service
Excellent except for a noisy badly parented child. Not the pubs fault a difficult situation for them
The food was fantastic the staff was very organised definitely will stay there again and in between each dining table was a screen so we could all keep our social distancing fantastic place
Really lovely meal. Pie was really tasty. Very quick service.
Friendly helpful staff, great beer, excellent food. Thanks to all who added to our experience, we'll be back.
Slow service, food good and ales excellent, worth a visit.
Friendly, polite staff. Lovely food and atmosphere. Will definitely go again!
Very good, if not a little expensive, would visit again.
Lovely welcoming people, rooms excellent and food was great would recommend
Great choice, Georgous food and good service. Excellent pub overall
A lovely pub on Skipton Hight Street, we had the roast beef, plenty of meat, lovely big Yorkshire pud and creamy mash. Veg was a bit bland but the rest of the meal made up for. Sticky Toffee Pudding was delicious. The serving staff were also great, polite and helpful. I’m sure we will revisit soon
Lovely food. Really enjoyable Sunday lunch. Will go again soon
The room was small but big enough and was beautiffully finished and decorated. Very light and modern. I would definitely recommend to others and return myself.
Lovely gammon Sunday roast, friendly staff and a good atmosphere in the pub. Will definitely be coming back!
the manage came back to us via mail today and offered vouchers to rectify the problems we had, so you cna't say fairer than that
Very tasty food. Fantastic pheasant special starter. All of us were very happy with our food.
Lovely meal. Great atmosphere and environment. Will definitely come back again!
Great food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Really enjoyed our meal
Good food served by efficient and friendly staff. Excellent Timothy Taylor Landlord although £4 a pint was a shock. I also thought that the regular fish and chips was very small at over £9.
Food and service is always fantastic and today was no exception
Lovely, cosy rooms, great food, fantastic breakfast, really great little Inn.
Food nice. Service ok but could have been more friendly.
Third visit the portions of Pork were small, The seabass was minute, not even a child's portion and was overcooked. The Sticky toffee pudding was lukewarm and the sauce cold. If this was my first visit I wouldn't go back, but it has been better in the past. The staff tend to congregate by the till so to get another drink or attention is difficult
Lovely place lovely food would recomend to friends will return in the near future.
Despite booking our table in advance and arriving in good time we received very poor attention from waiting staff with no-one taking a drinks order and an exceptionally long wait before anyone took a food order. The food then took a very long time to arrive. Nobody checked to ask if all was ok - it was fine. We then had a long wait to be able get the bill. All in all an ‘ok’ visit but nothing that we would want to repeat particularly- sorry
We arrived early which was not a problem and we were seated in an empty restaurant, on end table which was next to the thorough fare for the toilets and the outside smoking area. This thorough fare is very busy. We asked to be moved and was initially ignored but was then told we could move. It turned out there was no reason to put us at this poor table as the restaurant was never full! The food was good but we were never approached to ask how it was until we paid the bill. We eat at other Taylors pubs in Haworth, Thornton and Oldfield ( the best) but once again the customer service at The Woolley Sheep was very poor
