Good food served by efficient and friendly staff. Excellent Timothy Taylor Landlord although £4 a pint was a shock. I also thought that the regular fish and chips was very small at over £9.

Third visit the portions of Pork were small, The seabass was minute, not even a child's portion and was overcooked. The Sticky toffee pudding was lukewarm and the sauce cold. If this was my first visit I wouldn't go back, but it has been better in the past. The staff tend to congregate by the till so to get another drink or attention is difficult

Despite booking our table in advance and arriving in good time we received very poor attention from waiting staff with no-one taking a drinks order and an exceptionally long wait before anyone took a food order. The food then took a very long time to arrive. Nobody checked to ask if all was ok - it was fine. We then had a long wait to be able get the bill. All in all an ‘ok’ visit but nothing that we would want to repeat particularly- sorry

We arrived early which was not a problem and we were seated in an empty restaurant, on end table which was next to the thorough fare for the toilets and the outside smoking area. This thorough fare is very busy. We asked to be moved and was initially ignored but was then told we could move. It turned out there was no reason to put us at this poor table as the restaurant was never full! The food was good but we were never approached to ask how it was until we paid the bill. We eat at other Taylors pubs in Haworth, Thornton and Oldfield ( the best) but once again the customer service at The Woolley Sheep was very poor

We visited on Boxing Day last year and enjoyed our meal so much we booked for this year. I think that speaks for itself.

Average pub food at inflated prices. Had the large burger ,no lettuce or pulled pork ,other meal of sea bass and risotto (risotto more like rice pudding) no trace of chorizo ,thought we would try a pudding to share , had the brownie and at £6.50 the portion size was dreadful (not something you would share) , no member of staff came and asked if everything was OK as the were all too busy dealing with a customer that could not pay. Obviously could do better
