As usual most enjoyable meal, slightly let down by the dessert! Other than that everything was great, can't wait for our next visit next month!
Excellent meal as always, food is good quality, well cooked, staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and will definite be visiting again.
Excellent carvery, roasts were very tender with good choice of vegetables, great that served on hot plates. Staff were helpful and friendly and decor very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely food, plenty of it, very good value, would definitely return. Nice atmosphere, garden is beautifull and peaceful. Our friends from Australia were very impressed.
We did not go for the carvery but went for the lunchtime menu . Limited choice . I chose scampi which was over cooked and peas were inedible due to overcooking . Tasted watery . My husband and my mum in law chose the fish which they enjoyed . My husband said the chips were as good as unreal chips could be ! His mushy peas were very dry . I have got to say the carvery looked amazing and the place was full . Most having the carvery ! If we go back it will be the carvery for us all .
Very friendly staff. Great food at an amazing price. Clean and tidy dining area. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Sunday roast.
Easily one of the best carvery places around, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent, pub is set in loverly grounds so will be returning in the summer if not before

Excellent food, pleasant staff and a lovely location. What more could you ask for. Only complaint is that the a la Carte menu was not available.Hopefully it will be the next time we visit.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly attentive staff, great tasting food, great prices
Slow service, had to collect jug of water from bar, salad leaves brown round edges, chicken dry, no garlic bread, no time for dessert. Disappointing.
Lovely meals and service. Real value for money. Will definatley be going again. Light and airy resturant. Guest beers. Carvery was excellent full of flavour and lots of vegetables to chooses from.
Had my 50th birthday party here Fantastic carvery with good choice of vegetables Staff very helpful We will be returning in the future Thank you Punchbowl
Lovely atmosphere, great staff and food tastes really nice. Will defiantly go again as it is mine and my partners choice in a wedding venue
Great carvery, as ever!! Dessert not as per description however ☹️ Staff extremely welcoming, polite and friendly. Great value for money at the Punchbowl Inn.
Disappointed this time. Turned up on time and table was not ready. Lady staff member very helpful but obviously busy. Told if we wanted cauliflower cheese to go to other service counter. No greens apart from peas. A little disorganised I felt. Food still excellent. Disappointed that unable to book in large function room as told not for 2pm sitting but people were at the service counter just like us. No one at the bar to take order. Disorganised!
The best carvery I know - as usual. P.s and I've been to many! We did feel a bit rushed with the dessert as it was getting near 3.00 , closing time. We decided to go to the local garden centre for a pot of tea and a cake. We won't let that put us off, as we had a lovely family day.
Very good food, although my wife was disappointed with the mixed fruit crumble. She felt it had not been cooked enough to her liking though.
Good quality home cooked food in a beautiful setting. Staff very helpful and friendly. The food was fantastic value and we will definitely visit again.
We arrived and were seated straight away in a nice quiet area. We had the AGA carvery at a very reasonable price and it was very nice, good selection of meats and vegetables in different guises. Homemade cranberry sauce topped off my succulent turkey and apple sauce for the pork. My only complaint is that I did not leave myself any room for a dessert. It was my first visit as my wife is already a fan having been a few times before with the 'girls' I will definitely go again.
Great food carvery recommended, good selection of real ales. Service a little random but didn't spoil our pleasure. Nice hiding and easy parking. Definitely give it a try.
Very friendly and helpful staff restaurant very comfortable and clean excellent food definitely going back for another visit a good place to visit with a crowd of friends and family
A high quality carvery meal, that was very good value. Service was great. The carvery offered a generous serving of pork, beef or turkey, or indeed any combination of all three. More meat was offered if required. Thoroughly recommended.
Excellent carvery and excellent value for money. Pleasant surroundings and polite and helpful staff. Would recommend - we went at lunchtime and it was really good.
Excellent carvery. Tasty quality food. Good value mid week offer of two or three courses. Lovely welcoming atmosphere and good friendly service. Good car parking.
Lovely food as always seating a bit cramped by nothing major very hot and stuffy need windows open in summer months,We have booked to go back for our boxing day lunch.
Friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. A fave place to eat for us. Scored lower than normal because some of the veg was overdone and one meat had run out.
