TASTY FOOD - THO COULD'VE BEEN A BIT SPICIER - FRIENDLY STAFF

I really enjoyed my meal herd and had my usual chicken tikka that had a lively rich sauce. The staff are friendly and the restaurant has homely feel to it.

We booked to dine early because we were going to the theatre for 7.30. I hadn't been to Zaffrani for some years; it's close, still has excellent reviews. Our host was welcoming. The gentleman who took our order was a bit air-headed though there was No one else in the restaurant at that time. And he got the order wrong when it came. Value for money was ok; there were many more people in the restaurant when we left. Sound levels were very good, a huge plus. The restaurant has had a 'tart up' recently and it's clean and welcoming. I think there are just a couple of things that should be better.

thankful for the new second room as main room had a very loud table... but the other room was empty and quiet which was much better!

The food and the service is always of a high quality. It is however a little in the pricey side. I would go back more often if it was more affordable.

Had a lovely meal again and really enjoyed the lamb which was really tender and the fish was full of spicy flavour. Decor is nice and staff friendly.

Zaffrani was my favourite restaurant in London when I lived in the neighborhood. I have since moved away and come back, and I am pleased it's still here. I brought friends tonight, and they weren't disappointed. The dishes are all delicious, and they are different from those at other Indian restaurants.
