Really nice atmosphere and great food at reasonable prices. Excellent service. Fast and friendly. Good range of drinks including some very nice wine. Would definitely go again.

from beginning to end the staff were very attentive. the choice of dishes on the menu was excellent. so many is was quite difficult to choose.

Always had great food here. Tried crostini & mushrooms for the 1st time, delicious!! Alfredo pappardelle is always our favourite pasta dish,made with ham,cream and garlic . The service is friendly and efficient. Nice atmosphere.

Really enjoyed our family meal at Zitto. Delicious food, friendly service and great atmosphere. Very child friendly with a good choice of portion sizes. Hoping we can fit in another visit whilst we’re on holiday in North Berwick.

Lovely meal in friendly Italian restaurant. Very generous risotto portions. Vast menu and it took a long time to choose. All the food was very tasty and beautifully prepared. Service friendly, food arrived very quickly. Would recommend to all.

This was our first visit to Zitto. We opted for the tapas and had to wait almost an hour for 6 dishes. The nachos was devoid of cheese so we sent it back and the refreshed dish was much better. The food generally was pretty average. The staff seemed very slow and we had to keep trying to attract their attention to order a drink , pay the bill etc. We wouldn’t recommend this restaurant and won’t be returning as there are plenty of better restaurants in North Berwick .

Food was amazing. The choice on the menu is great and the Italian tapas lets you try little bits of everything. Wine menu is great too. Lovely atmosphere in the wine bar at the front of the restaurant.

Not so much of an authentic Italian but the food still tasted good. There tapas was better than their mains and drinks are reasonably priced.

An excellent meal and service. We shall make sure we pay another visit soon,possibly later this week. Very good value in every way. Perfect evening

Good food but as always service let’s it down. Family have eaten here many times but the service never seems to improve, come on zittos!

The starter and main course were good not excellent ,I had the Roman risotto and the sausage was far to strong and over powered the dish completely so I couldn’t appreciate any other flavours in the dish ,the deserts were amazing hot chocolate fudge cake with vinila ice cream and sticky toffee pudding. The staff were nice and friendly but could have been a bit more focused and attentive.i also think if you go to an Italian restaurant then there should be someone Italian there to meet & greet you or serve you it makes the atmosphere more authentic.

6. It was busy, even at 6.15pm on a Friday, so glad I made a reservation. Food consistently good and pleasant service. Good atmpsphere and no background music.

Good service as always. Very good pizza and my wife and her friend rated the highlander chicken. A friend had the risotto which he said was very good.

Quick and easy to book. Service and food great. We all enjoyed it. Quick service all the food came hot. Like how they bring you a jug of cool water th have with your meal.

Fabulous food, great service and very good wine. The seafood risotto is absolutely superb and the mussels cooked to perfection. Peppered chicken is a little hot, but all the lovelier for it.

Excellent, starter was larger than expected, prawns and calamari, delicious. Main scampi like you rarely get 😁 (in a cream sauce), no room for pud though. Hope to return before we leave. Service great as well.

Table was ready for us, cheery welcome and the restaurant was clean. A bottle of iced water served as we sat down Three in our party,all ordered different pastas and all gave the food five stars.All liked the fact we could chose size of plate and the kind of pasta. Zittos never fails us. As usual it gave us great service and great food! Vibrant atmosphere here! This restaurant is popular with locals all year round. Never had a bad meal here yet.

Been to Zitto many times but this time not as good as before, we were put at table right next to toilets, asked to be moved and as it was busy was told no but fortunately a table just came up. Food took quite a while to come but it was delicious as ever. I will go back but will check about table.

Third visit in the last few months. Excellent service as always. Extensive menu, something for everyone. Would highly recommend the monk fish and the lamb chops.

Always visit Zittos when we are in North Berwick and are never disappointed. The menu is wide and varied and the food, and service, is of a consistently good standard.
