Zitto Italian Wine Bar

Amazing from start to finish! I will definately be a returning customer. I would advise to book in advance online or phone especially at weekends as it was quite busy. Meal for 2, with whitebait and parma, melon and mozzarella for starters and lasagne and carbonara for mains. Food was exceptional, quality of ingredients were good, portion sizes great(I'm not one for a small plate) timings were excellent bringing out food and staff were friendly 😊 the only downside is it is quite noisy open plan in the restaurant. Maybe some booths or partitions would be great.

Had a lovely meal here when visiting North Berwick. Staff were very nice. Would definitely return when in North Berwick again. Would recommend to friends.

Great food and service we definitely be back. They are also good to accommodate children with the various sized portions available. Love the tapas menu too!!

The tapas lunch menu, 3 for £14.50 is great value for money. We have been a few times now and have never had a bad meal.

Great food, service was good too. Didn't stay for deserts but had both starters and mains. Wine list looked extensive but unfortunately was driving so I didn't sample any. Will definitely come back again.

As always, great food and drink in a relaxing setting. Front bar area was cold as the door was always opening with guests. I prefer sitting in the restaurant

A lovely welcome to a very nice restaurant. It was a set menu for New Years Eve. Antipasti was delicious as was starters however the spaghetti was a bit bland the prawns were delicious. Cranachan was ok not great. Coffees wines and tablet gorgeous. We were finished by 10.30 so weren’t hanging around for the ‘bells’. We seemed to be the only table not automatically given our complimentary or included Prosecco so asked for it. We would go back though but not on New Year’s Eve and strangely enough avoid spaghetti.

This was my second visit to zittos and it was fantastic once again. Excellent fresh food and great service. Cant wait to return for my 3rd visit

Service was very good & our servers very pleasant. Once we’d ordered we didn’t have too long to wait before both drinks & food arrived at the table. We’d all ordered from the Tapas selection & everything was very enjoyable. Can recommend the Rice Balls & the battered Jumbo Prawns & the cocktail from the board - Zitto Mimisa

1st time I’ve been always heard good things and it was not a disappointment. Service was fantastic, Food was amazing as was the price as we both had 3 courses. The haggis Bon bons starter and meat balls pasta was amazing then I forced myself a pudding which was awesome even if I felt like a whale afterwords. Stunning place and will be back.

Very good food and service. Would certainly recommend this restaurant. Reasonably well priced for the quality of the food received. Will be back next time I stay North Berwick

Delicious Italian. Very family-friendly environment but great without kids too. Lots of options both traditional Italian and tapas style. Great service. Have been many times and always the same.

Food was nice nothing special.. nice wine list. No kids menu but they offer half portions of menu and smaller tapas plates. If you had fussy eaters that don’t do spaghetti bolonaise or fish and chips I would give it a miss. Staff were nice and helpful

Zitto is OK. Just OK. From the outside, it promises more. But there's not something quite right in the overall experience. It's a shame really.

Excellent service with friendly staff, and good food. One negative,when we visited on the evening of Friday 8th December it was very cold in restaurant.

FOOD WAS BEAUTIFUL , WE STAY IN PORTOBELLO AND ITS WORTH THE DRIVE ON A COLD WINTER NIGHT. THE 3 TAPAS FOR £14.50 IS VERY NICE.RECOMMENDED.

Food and service were outstanding. Would definitely recommend this place and the prices were very reasonable. Will not hesitate to return in the near future.

Great chilled atmosphere, we had a noisy baby with us but everyone was lovely, food was really nice, and the service people were friendly and helpful. Only downside was that the service was a little slower than we’d have liked, took 30 mins before someone took our order but overall a great lunch and we will be back

Excellent food and staff! Extensive menu with a great deal to choose from including tapas. Lovely atmosphere and waitress we had was very happy to help us with our choice and any special dietary concerns we had. Will definitely be back soon.

We always go to Zittos when we're in North Berwick for the range of food and wines, friendly service and value for money.

Excellent food, fast service & staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is lovely and they are child friendly which really makes a difference.

The food was Fantastic good portion sizes and very tasty. Our waiter was great he made a cocktail not on the menu when asked. Very impressed.

Good food and service. Little bit noisy initially so as scooby doo used to say, if it wasn’t for those pesky kids. Price of peroni too high but apart from that no complaints

Great restaurant in the centre of North Berwick, always full so best to book a table. Food is excellent, staff are friendly and there a nice atmosphere.

Excellent servyand tapas. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the girl who served us was particularly helpful. The bar man could have smiled more. Not a huge criticism but would have been nice We will return.

We visited Zito's over two years ago but still remember how much we enjoyed the food and hospitality. Now two years on it still is a grest place to dine out. We will not be leaving it another two years

There was a huge range of options on the menu. Our meals were all great tasting. However, beware of the large portions! A small would suffice for many.

Food as good as always. Good efficient and friendly service. Just too noisy at the back of the restaurant with low ceilings and hard surfaces.

Very very average ...dearest Calzone I have ever had. Base was tough to cut and over cooked. My wife is still looking for the salmon that wasn't in her pasta. Very disappointing for my daughter's birthday meal.😕

Food was excellent, service was okay, seating at the high tables was uncomfortable. Comfy chairs would have complimented the cuisine very well. Price was right. We would return but request a better table.

This restaurant has an extensive menu of great Italian food. It is my 8 year old grandsons favourite place to eat when we visit North Berwick. Great atmosphere and excellent service.

Warm welcome, good table, pleasant ambience, efficient friendly staff, prompt service, good tasty food, immenso is a LARGE portion, reasonably priced. I would definitely go back again.

First time here and had a lovely meal - had a selection of Italian tapas to share. Would highly recommend. Tiramisu was out of this world.
