Zorbas

Very disappointed with our visit. The food was not good enough and did not match the menu. We ordered the "famous meze" this came with only 4 dips not 6; NO calamari; NO greek sausage; NO chips; only 2 skewers of each meat and felt that this was not enough for 4 people. Not enough glasses to use with our drinks and quality of food not acceptable. We ordered a Bulmers cider and were presented with an alcohol free Kopperberg! Some staff did not know what they were doing. We were not alone in our dissatisfaction as a number of other customers complained about their meal. Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant.

Food was delicious, service a bit slow but it was busy, overall it was a good night. A lot of items were not available on the menu but we arrived very late for dinner so it could all have been sold out earlier. Friendly service though

Great atmosphere, good food, Cyprus meze brought back wonderful memories. Food was authentic and tasted great. Service was a little chaotic but it was very very busy. We will return.

A truly wonderful Greek Cusine experience. In a beautiful little family run restaurant. I highly recommend the Chefs Meze’s we may have to travel 300 miles to eat again

It was our first time at Zorbas. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed the music entertainment provided by Maxine and Joseph.

Food was nice though there should have been garlic or chilli dip with the Souvlaki. The service was really slow and the waiter tried to serve us a bottle of red wine on ice which wasn’t ideal. But we quickly laughed about it and removed the wine so it didn’t get cold.

Fabulous Greek food lovely host do t miss this opportunity To experience a authentic Greek food and welcome very nice place and authentic atmosphere highly recommend

Great service and gorgeous food! It's a shame we don't live closer, as we would definitely be back on a regular basis! Also, we were disappointed that we missed out on the live music!

Great place that is well decorated, food was very tasty and well presented. We would recommend and come back. We used taste card so price was great.

I have been there a few times and Zorbas never disappoints. Amazing food and great service too. They also had live Music which just made it the more special.

Plenty of local ex pats in the evening we visited. Good authentic food & reasonable price. would visit again if in the area. Try it & see

The food was lovely but the service was poor even though the restaurant was quiet. The waiter was quite pushy trying to get us to order alcohol but one is was driving and one doesn't drink so it felt uncomfortable. The waiter took the order incorrectly and didn’t bring the hummus for the starter. He brought chips instead of rice for one of our party who decided to just go with it rather than making him go and change it. When we asked for more water we had to spend time trying to catch his eye when he didn’t bring it for ages. Then after the main course he just didn’t come near us at all. We were going to have dessert and one of us was having the dinner deal of 2 courses but we all just decided to have coffee instead. By this time the place was almost empty but we still had to wave our arms to try and get his attention after wAiting at least half an hour after finishing the main. Then they brought the ouzo and another older man asked us if we wanted more alcohol. It was a shame as the food was ok and the place is lovely but service makes a good restaurant experience I think

Food cold wrong order brought to table then received same food which made it even tougher as it was meat .New management without experience I would say .Lovely decor nice live music .lots of people got wrong orders .

We enjoyed the choice of authentic Greek food and we were given very generous portions and excellent service. The restaurant had a pleasant decor. We had a lovely evening

The sharing mezzi is really great value for money and delicious. Service is attentive without being over eager and the food was varied and nicely presented. I've eaten here previously and will eat here again, in future.

Nice venue friendly staff an good food! Bit disappointed in desert on the day as I have been.here before and the baklava was outstanding.....this time it felt small and shop bought but overall we enjoyed the evening and would go back.

What experience at Zorba restaurant? The restaurant was shutdown and it just about to ruin my birthday party. Thank God I have found another restaurant able to book a table for 8 on Saturday night at 7 pm. That wasn't a very nice experience.

We booked months ago, I even spoke to them the day before . But when we turned up on the evening we were told that the restaurant was closing down so they only had a very limited menu. So i don't suppose this review will matter to them anyway.

Not the best experience, really salty food loud diners smashing glasses and not really attentitive waiter. Didn't meet previous expectations that were set very high.

Relaxing atmosphere, excellent food, and very good service.Had been to restaurant before but on this occasion bought a relative who is very critical, he was very impressed and when in the area again will be visiting zorbas.

Excellent food and wine, the service was exceptional, Nothing was too much trouble as I wanted chips and rice so they did a smaller portion of each and didn't charge from the menu price. Will definitely will eat here again when visiting Bournemouth.

Lovely food. It was a nice touch to have the live music ( on sat eve) but contrary to their web site claim of Staff being very attentive, they were virtually non existent, having to put our hand up to gain attention.

Staff friendly, good wholesome food. Live traditional music. Lovely. Makes you feel that you have flown to a Greek island without the hassle of customs.

The service was fine and the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice. The food was distinctly average and I would not rush back. There were loads of flies buzzing around which was really annoying!

Really lovely food, good service and nice atmosphere. We didn’t feel rushed to finish our meal and leave. Highly recommend the meze, plenty of delicious food for 2 and nice to be able to try lots of different bits.

Good food and very friendly service - also a nice venue. The Greek white wine was pleasant, but perhaps management should consider offering retsina by the glass.

Great atmosphere and lovely food. The decor is lovely. It was very hot inside so we had to have the door open. The service was a little slow but that didn't bother us

Last visited 12 years ago and the decor remains the same. The service was, although slow compared to modern chains, was actually perfect. No person asking if everything is okay every 5 minutes, excellent timing between courses and no feeling of having to rush, instead a lovely relaxed evening. There was live performance which encourages the audience to participate if they so wish, plus they still encourage the smashing of plates after the meal. An amazing evening and we will definitely return

Amazing food and service.. They had live music, it was nice.. Personally I would prefer some Greek music instead of English.. But that dont disapointed me at all.We will come back for sure

Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing atmosphere. Have been twice and would happily go for a third. I would definitely recommend the Parea Meze for several courses of starters and mains, great food and great value.

Zorba has excellent food and service! Everything from starters to desserts was delicious! Thank you! We had amazing time yesterday and absolutely loved live, traditional Greek music which made our time there even more pleasant.

I really enjoyed my evening at Zorbas - i'd never been and took my boyfriend for a nice meal out. The food was great, service was fab. There was also live music which provided a great ambience and atmosphere. I also received 30% off as i booked online which i didn't expect to receive but was extremely happy with. Would definitely go again and recommend.
