Lived up to our expectations. Best Chinese in Bournemouth.. thanks
Come here at least once a year as live about 100 miles away . Not cheap but not expensive for the quality of food . Best Chinese I’ve been too !
Fabulous food well worth the money will be back soon.
Service great Quality of food very good Decor lovely Pricey
Food and service amazing as usual at this fantastic restaurant
Very welcoming and attentiv, good menu choice. Will certainly book again.
Exceptional food and great service, a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Noisy when full.
The quality of food and the service was fantastic. We also loved the modern style restaurant too.
In 60 years and not the cheapest option but quite frankly the best Chinese food I have ever experience
Delicious food made with top quality ingredients, and friendly staff
Amazing food and service highly recommend this restaurant definitely be going again
As always a great night service was good food was fantastic
We had the set lunchtime menu. The food was fantastic, the staff were very friendly and the price was very reasonable
Appetiser was better than the main course, which was a little disappointing. Crab was tasteless and sweet and sour pork tough. However, the service was GREAT....
always good food well cooked and service is good excellent
Best in Bournemouth 👍food Beautiful always perfectly cooked and special
Great food, busy restaurant, friendly staff although a little pricey
Birthday celebration-very well cared for, thank you-tasty food. Opted for the lunchtime menu. Highly recommend.
Waited 35 minutes from ordering to receiving, very expensive,£30 cheapest wine
The food is beyond compare; only gripe being no draught lager and only piddly little 330cl bottles of beer/cider on offer. Give us pints in nice cold glasses and it would be perfect!
The best chinese food around, our favourite place. Was a little noisy on this occasion, and slower service than usual, but the food can't be beaten. Shame it's not slightly cheaper else we'd be there every week !
The visit was good, it is very expensive though, service good and food was very good,
It all started so well. Warm welcome. Beautiful surroundings. Good food. But at the end of the meal we were ignored. No one cleaned the table. No offer of dessert menu. We were abandoned. Having to look around for staff, it got too late so we asked for the bill. It came and then more looking around, flagging down staff to bring a card machine. With a big reminder to pay service. Which I did. But guys, earn your service. Ignoring your customers is the worst thing a restaurant can do.
Everything was simply superb, food, decor, staff service. Even the shitters we’re top class!
Excellent food but very expensive. Only one diner when we arrived who departed shortly thereafter.
Lovely atmosphere and great tasting food, very welcoming and polite staff
Nice restaurant good recommendations and food vegetarian spring rolls were great
Great service and great food! Will definitely be back 😊
Everything was perfect, the welcome, the staff, the service and the food.
Unbelievable quality food, great service and excellent value for money!!
Amazing food! Quick service & friendly staff. Will most definitely be back.
Great food and service. Will definitely be going back again.
Best Chinese along the South coast or indeed whole of south!
Best Chinese in Bournemouth, pricey but worth it for the quality and flavours of the food!
A very tasty meal but rather expensive. Will go again as the food was lovely but will leave for a special occasion.
The food is good, though not excellent, and it's overpriced for the portion sizes. Two of our three main dishes came with mushrooms that were not stated on the menu; we wouldn't have minded if it had been just a few but the mushrooms made up about a third of each dish so a large proportion we, as non-mushroom-eaters, were unable to eat. The staff did not seem particularly concerned when we reported this; they suggested we should have sent the dishes back but this seems like an extreme reaction, not something I would consider doing unless I were unable to eat any of the dish. We may have ordered a dessert if we hadn't been abandoned for 25 minutes once they cleared our plates away. I probably won't be going back, but if I do I'll be sure to ask if my chosen dishes can have the mushrooms omitted.
Great atmosphere and decor. Helpful and attentive staff and really great food.
Ive been going here for years. Always has been Fantastic!!!
services good, nice restaurant, bar and toilets. Booking at 8.30pm and after discussing and deciding what to eat because of food allergies it took a little longer than usual to choose. Not alot of atmosphere in restaurant with no music (unless it was on low sound) and just the sound of people talking. Felt rushed as we were still eating starters when the duck and pancakes came out. Table was being cleared as we were finishing our mains course. As soon as we had finished eating we were given the bill and 5 minutes later they came around for payment even though 10 minutes earlier we had just got another £38.00 bottle of wine. Toilet doors were open and no lights on in then as it was clearly them saying its time to go. It was 11pm. Would not return although food was good but food and drinks expensive and with being rushed. Staff were good.
We loved it, food was excellent and service, we will be going again for sure.
Lovey food and atmosphere. An enjoyable evening out. Thoroughly enjoyable
I was charged £170 for four drinks and a set menu of £38 each ( 2 of us ). They changed the prices of the set menu on the day. Then was clearly told I’d been had.
We visited 1805 on my son's recommendation for our colleagues' 60th Birthday celebration. On entering the restaurant, it felt lovely, warm, and welcoming. We were greeted, and our coats were taken to hang. A nice touch. We all had our own personal starters, prawn toast, shredded chicken and vegan duck pancakes which were all flavoursome & scrumptious, followed by a rice, chicken wok noodles sweet & sour chicken and beautiful wok beef in a divine sauce and was enough for us 3 to share. On finishing the lovely staff brought over a piece of lemon cheesecake, complete with candle and a song! for our 60th birthday friend! Which was such a lovely thing to do. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and everything was perfect! Thank you
I visit 1805 regularly and it never fails to impress. This is a charming experience and is by far the best chinese restaurant I know.
If you opened all afternoon and marketed this you could be absolutely packed in afternoons, best Chinese food!
Good attentive staff, the food was really great and the Chinese New Year Dragon Dance was fantastic and fun. Fully recommend 1805 if you're in Bournemouth!
Loved the set menu deal, variety of options to choose from. Ribs and chicken sweet corn soup was delicious.
Lovely food , quick service . Some food was forgotten and wasn't brought out . Would say a little over priced.
Simply perfect, would like to come again and I wish I can
Very enjoyable. Prices are a little high but food was delicious so overall very good
