Lovely food and good service Beers are a little over price as only 330ml bottles available it works out over £11 a pint Also after spending over £350 on a meal shocked when the waitress came back to say we were 90 pence short on the service charge, that we did not have to pay anyway ? Still based on overall experience would return and feel for food it’s the best Chinese in town x

The food was great, it was not cheap but worth paying a little more. We felt a little rushed but didn't bother me when they said we are closed at 10.30. Very noisy as we were seated next to 10 youg lady's all drunk on a party and could not here ourselves of drunken laughter. But we did enjoy the visit

My wife is a coeliac. She was told that she could only choose from that menu. Staff were unfriendly. Sloppy service. Young untrained staff. Getting the staff's for anything was difficult. My wife felt hurried when ordering and chose the Wagu beef dish which was Not cleared marked in pricing at £119. !! Overall will return to this venue. This has become a fast food outlet and not the intimate dinning experience we had previously encountered. We did not pay the service charge of £35. I tried to give feedback politely to the owner regards to clearer pricing. He was barely interested. !!!!

Served too quick for us on uncovered tables with no cloth napkins which makes the experience sound like a cafe. Food is good but feels too cafe like to warrant price

The food was very sub standard. We have been many times in the past and has been very good, however this time the food was overcooked, dry and tasteless. Not value for money. Unfortunately will not be returning.

Found it a bit dark at the side of the restaurant and very hard to hear. Have been a few times and had better tables with more attentive service. While the food was good, it feels overpriced.

A lovely evening with good food if a little expensive

The 1805 is one of our go-to restaurants in Bournemouth. The food never disappoints. The service can be a little patchy but not so much as to spoil the evening. The only downside are the acoustics which can produce high noise levels if the restaurant is full.

We didn't go. The restaurant rang and asked us to come early because they wanted to close at 9pm. We cancelled. Went to Tiien Thai around the corner instead, which was excellent.

It is always a pleasure eating at this restaurant.Food is excellent and the staff welcome you into a very pleasant atmosphere.

The best Chinese restaurant in Bournemouth and Poole area by some distance. Not cheap but you get what you pay for!

The service was very attentive, incredible selection of food. Our meal was served lovely & hot, was very delicious.

The gent on the door did not greet us warmly or even smile. Our table, pre booked was not set for 3 and the very young. Clearly inexperienced but pleasant waiter should not have stacked our used and dirty plates in front of us at the table, scraping food on to one plate, cutlery etc. Very unprofessional and unhygienic. More training requied

Great food and service. Crispy kung po prawns were our favourite.

We had to wait 20 mins for a drink and in the end helped ourselves to water from the bar. Not a good experience especially in the heat. Glad to say the food was amazing as ever.

have been many times, however the only fault is that the food is generally served on cold plates/platters! this does not compliment hot food and disappoints the experience. And this time we were given plates instead of the usual bowls, which don't assist the use of chop sticks. Other than that it was very good.
