The ambiance was peaceful and inviting, with a gentle hum of conversation and the tantalizing aromas of savory dishes wafting from the kitchen. We began our meal with the egg fried rice, which was cooked to perfection - fluffy, flavorful, and utterly satisfying. But the real showstoppers were the special fried rice with beef in black pepper and the smoke chilli chicken. The beef was tender and juicy, infused with a rich, peppery flavor that complemented the rice beautifully. And the smoke chilli chicken? Absolutely divine! The combination of spicy and smoky flavors had us craving more with each bite. Throughout our meal, the staff were attentive and courteous, refilling our drinks and checking in on us with a smile. The service was top-notch, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. Overall, our experience at 1805 was a true delight. Great chinese food on a different level to the run of the mill fare.

We loved the food, best Chinese I’ve had outside of China. Not cheap eg £18 for a standard serving of sweet and sour chicken.

Het is een prachtig restaurant, we werden bijzonder vriendelijk ontvangen. Wat hebben we lekker gegeten, alle gerechten zo mooi van smaak!! Absolute aanrader!!! Het enige wat stoorde was de te harde hedendaagse muziek en dat terwijl er zulke mooie achtergrond bestaat

Cold food as it had clearly been sitting somewhere. When finally hot food was received we were asked to finish as restaurant was closing , whilst still eating the now late food. Then had the indignity to add service, which needed to be rejected.

have been before and food was good so decided to take wife there for her birthday really enjoyed the food even if was really exspensive.Was really noisy from one table could not hear yourself speak which was a shame.

This was our first visit to 1805. Very impressed with the style of the restaurant. Very friendly staff. And the food was absolutely amazing. By far the best Chinese we have ever eaten. I would thoroughly recommend this place.

The food is very nice and the setting just right. It isn't the cheapest restaurant in Bournemouth but certainly worth a visit on occasions.

Very noisy restaurant, couldn’t hear the person next to me. Then we had a 45 minute wait for food after the starter. When that arrived, the lamb chops were smallest portion of food I’ve ever seen & were very expensive. The saviour was the veggie duck! Overall very disappointed. There are better places.

Greeted warmly before being shown to our table. It was my birthday and that was acknowledged by all the staff. We had the set lunch menu and added an extra dish which was no problem at all. The wine choice was difficult because of the good choice and reasonable prices. The food as always was exceptional the Kung Po prawns were amazing. The service was perfect and although it was lunchtime we weren’t rushed. The little birthday dessert with a candle was a lovely surprise and treat. When we visit Bournemouth we usually visit 1805 and we will continue to. The best Chinese restaurant for us.

Best sweet and sour chicken and sweet and sour pork we have both had for a long time, delicious!

Too dark sat just other side of partition by the ‘lion’ Food tasty but pork in lychee wine went cold very quickly. Service ok but no one asked if we would like dessert or coffee. Went and asked for menus ourselves.
