4500 Miles From Delhi - Bristol

Food was delicious and staff are very welcoming. The food was served without much delay and we enjoyed every dish we ordered.I would definitely recommend this to other friends.

Excellent food, service and surroundings... Will definitely return . Third time I've visited this restaurant and every time quality of food and service is top class.

Usually LOVE this restaurant but really not impressed this time. We were taken to a table right at the back, even though there were tables free at the front, where it was cold and soulless. Our wine order was forgotten and had to ask for it, the food came out super quick and made us feel like we were in a fast food restaurant, curry sauce came out cold and we generally felt unloved. As I said, normally this restaurant is great but it was definitely not up to scratch last night. Would go back and hope it was just a blip.

Awful service, food tasteless, told to leave at 10-15 without being able to finish our wine. Four adults two children. We were extremely rushed by the staff throughout the experience, one of staff couldn't understand our order, lager flat and tasted strange, couldn't drink it. Spinach dish like water and no flavour. Could go on, the ultimate sin of being told to leave because they shut at 10 was so rude. Would never return and intend to put this post on other website. Abysmal I am afraid!

Early evening so restaurant empty apart from us but the food was good, service second to none and the overall ambiance and cleanliness was excellent! Will definitely eat there again.

The staff were very helpfull. The food was first class. I would recommend anyone 4500 miles to deli. We had a great meal and will certainly visit again

Fantastic authentic Indian food based in an excellent central location. Eaten there a number of time and in particular have found that they are very capable of dealing with large parties.

Always excellent food and service. Our favourite indian restaurant. We have visited many times and the food is always hot, well prepared and tasty. The service is quick and efficient. The restaurant is well decorated and clean. Worth a visit!

Very good resturant environment and excellent customer service by the staff. The staff remembered me from previous visits and welcomed me individually. The prices are slightly higher than the value of food but the customer service will compensate it well.

Great food good service. Can be a little pricey, but a great curry. Cooked dishes especially for us, since some of the "regular" curry dishes weren't on menu but the kitchen prep'd them anyway! will return!

Our first visit. We received a friendly welcome. Service was timely and courteous. Food tasty and hot although one of the mains was cold and was replaced straight away with a hot one with humble apologies. We will return at some time in the future.

Lovely venue with nice ambiance, the food was excellent with plenty of choice, catered well for Veggi and Gluten Free. Staff were very accomodating without being to intrusive.

The atmosphere is welcoming and staff very helpful, polite and respectful , ready to answer any questions you might have. The food was excellent :fresh and delicious, literally sizzling. We will come back for sure as the menu is generous and all sounds delicious.

Good Indian food, close to theatre and concert venues. Reasonably price with a varied menu. Staff were attentive, food came in reasinable time. We will definitely eat here when we visit Bristol again.

Really great meal , and excellent service . Nothing was too much trouble for the staff .They even came out with a cake when they found out we were celebrating a Birthday .

As usual a first class meal full of spices and other tastes. The staff were most helpful in explaining the various dishes and left us feeling as we had eaten a wonderful feast.

So looking forward to eating here, but such a disappointment. Poor customer service, food small portions and not hot. We were presented with the bill as they were taking our main meals away!

We were made to feel very unwelcome. We arrive on time for a 10.30 booking but were greeted as if we had just turned up off the street. Orders were rushed - the individual taking the orders was particularly rude, Service was equally rushed and your staff committed the cardinal sin of restauranting - the staff started to clear the table well before the last person had finished their meal. In fact clearance started while four people were still eating. Very embarrassing as I was responsible for the booking. I will certainly not be recommending your establishment and will never return. Food and service very good, enjoyable meal. Had a banquet for two and the portion sizes were just right. Would definitely go again. Location very handy if going to the Colston Hall or Hippodrome.

Very nice food, arrived quickly and was a good value for an Indian Restaurant - £52 for a large two course meal for two. Service was a little slow sometimes and sometimes the waiters struggled to understand us but everything was exactly as ordered and we had no problems at all. Will be coming back for the lunch time deal!

Good staff , nice surroundings and clean , as an Indian one of the best Indian cuisines around , I'd go again toilets are better then most that's a plus

I went here for my birthday meal after hearing good things about it. What a disappointment that was! Food was bland and overpriced. Not in the slightest bit authentic. Even the hottest dishes were lacking in Spice. When ordering poppadoms, they don't even do pickle trays. They just give you two little dips to go with them, no mixed pickle etc. I ordered the lamb shank for £13 which very tender, but tasted like tomato, massively lacking in flavour - you wouldn't think you were eating in an Indian restaurant! And to top it off I found a piece of plastic in there! Informed the waiter who went to the kitchen and came back to apologise and said it was a film they put over the food in order for it to be heated throughly... In other words, the food is microwaved. Not something I expect from an expensive restaurant. I was offered a free drink to compensate. I also found the waiters quite rude and once it came to paying the bill the lady asked for a tip!! The only good thing I can say about this restaurant is that the presentation is nice and so is the actual building. Other than that I definitely would not be returning and would not recommend. It seems like they are trying to be a more "fine dining" restaurant but are failing miserably.

one of the best curries i've had ever! very tasty, and super spicy (karachi). I was hosting a party of 9 and everyone enjoyed, even if the heat of these curries is definitely on the spicy side, be warned!

Food was delicious, however the service was very slow! It took 90 minutes from us arriving to us being given our main courses! I would go back again but maybe not at the weekend.

£25 per person 'banquet' included 1 popudum each, and half a rice / half nan each! Food was ok but over priced also manager was slightly arrogant after we complained.

Great food with excellent service and have never had a bad meal. It takes me nearly an hour to get there from South Wales but its well worth the effort 10/10

Great food and good service. Food arrived quickly and staff very helpful. Restaurant was very quiet so perhaps that would change if busy but would go again.

We returned to this restaurant after a few visits last year. As on the previous occasions the service was prompt and friendly and the food was of high quality.

Food was ok, service was just about ok although we had to wait to get served despite making a reservation some weeks ago. It's a nice restaurant but I don't think the food is anywhere near as good as when it first opened, which is a shame.

Very busy so service was slower than usual but excellent nonetheless. Best curry house in Bristol! Consistently outstanding food and it's clear the chef's and staff take pride in the whole venture!

Well recommended. Good food, better than your normal Indian. Good atmosphere, and will accommodate for large groups. Will certainly visit again in the near future.
