Excellent food and attentive, helpful staff. We were a party of seven and all the food was served piping hot and service was prompt. Will be visiting again soon.

Very friendly welcome by staff. we visited on New Years Eve it was a set menu with several choices for each course. Our food was excellent in taste and presentation. Serving staff were exceptionally attentive and very friendly. My, and I stress my, I hate been presented with a massive amount of food on a plate. I ordered veggie pasta which was delicious but the portion was enormous. Sounds petty, but puts me off. we had a fabulous night and would definitely return and have recommended it to friends already.

A nice restaurant in one of the old wharehouse buildings near the Hull Marina. It is on the upper floor so may not be accessible to some. The food was nicely cooked and the service was good. Wine was well priced. This is an Italian restaurant but there is a lot of steak on the menu. I would have liked to see more Italian items to choose from. All in all it will provide you with a decent night out.

Good food but really slow to get the food out. We arrived at the restaurant on time at 7:30 and was served with our main coarse three hours later. They knocked money off the bill for inconvenience. It seemed like everyone in the place was complaining about the service.

Nice ambience and staff. Service was good with just the right amount of time between courses. Food was of good quality but beware, the steak (which was good) just came on a plate on its own. We realise these days sides are always extra but expected, for the price, maybe a potatoe or two on the plate. A nice evening but not great value for money.

We found this little gem two weeks ago and have been twice already, travelling from the south bank. We absolutely love it, the food is gorgeous, the venue perfect and the staff are so friendly and attentive, with brilliant service. Will definitely be going again soon and recommend to all our friends.

The worst restaurant experience ever. It took them 30 minutes to take our order then a further 30 minutes for the starters to arrive. We were then asked to move tables but offered free puddings and coffee for the inconvenience. However, we then waited another hour for the main courses and they got our order wrong plus didn't serve the side orders. We were offered a free bottle of wine but by that time we had been there for 2 hours and just wanted to leave. It was total chaos with many people complaining about the terrible service. We did feel sorry for Rachel the Maitre d' as she was having to cope with an incompetent team whilst trying to keep her guests happy. We will not be going back because the food was poor as well.

Food took to long to come out with no communications to let us know, however when it did it was fantastic, Fantastic setting, great interior design, lovely atmosphere and credit where credit is due the restaurant realised our constructive criticism on the night was justified so they deducted an amount off the bill which was a very good compensate. Would definitely go back again as fantastic food is the main and then the way they dealt with our issue was also fantastic.

Fab food great staff lovely atmosphere would definitely recommend good value for money.The deserts where amazing and the food cooked to perfection.loved the Pinot wine.

Excellent meal fresh crab and sea bream we're delicious service very efficient and friendly atmosphere great wines limited but reasonably priced overall a Very enjoyable experience will certainly return

Lovely atmosphere and good food, it was very busy the night we went and waited an hour for our food. Our waitress was lovely, all staff were friendly. Good choice of specials and their house red wine was lovely

I often eat here, the food was stunning as always, however this time the staff were not as proficient as usual, there was a few forgotten or wrong orders.

Excellent meal and service. The butter sauce on the Sea Bass was to die for !! If you haven't been yet then you must try Al Porto, you won't be disappointed !!

Booked on line with quando - so easy and efficient! Service was lovely and the food really delicious. Gorgeous fillet steaks, £70 for 2 starter, mains and drinks. Would recommend Al Porto!

Poor quality food. A Very disappointing experience Rare steak was extremely overcooked. Mixed seafood pasta consisted of only muscles in shells and just 1 crevette. no other seafood present. Pasta very dry too, served without sauce. Plus overcharged bill.

Fantastic food loved the Lobstdr Ravioli. Excellent Service nothing to much trouble. The Decor made us feel as if we were in Scicily. Will definitely be visiting again.

Great food, nice place, friendly and tranquil atmosphere. The staff is very pleasant. Perhaps there could be a bit more choice in the menu, for example vegetarian/vegan options.
