we visited Alma de Cuba on Sunday 22 October for our 3 course meal with a glass of bubbly and a cocktail each. What can I say, the food was delicious the bubbly and cocktails were to die for and our waitress for the night Isabella was a star nothing to much for her even when my wife didn't like the first cocktail she swapped it for another. Definitely worth the £39 we paid for the experience.. see you again soon.

Probably over hyped! Pretty average food, poor wine (by the glass and bottle) range. Will not be re-visiting. Service was ok; prompt and courteous. Training of staff was average.

Most beautiful and dramatic surroundings, such a wonderful place to eat. Unfortunately the food didn’t live up to its home, the meat was seriously fatty which Argentinian steak can be, but there were huge chunks of pure fat. The chips weren’t cooked properly and the peroni at £4.50 a pint didn’t even come in the correct glassware. So disappointed as it’s first and last time I eat there.

Food was okay, but not particularly interesting was delivered very quickl. Woukd have preferred to feel less rushed., as soon as one course was finished the next arrived, despite a very quiet evening early in the week.

Unfortunately they had run out of roasties and some veg, and we had gone with ordering a roast in mind! We ordered ribeye steak instead but are both sure it was sirloin?!? However it was very tasty and cooked to perfection. Felt the place was a bit tired and had a musty smell to it!!

The food was very good and the service excellent in the restaurant and the gospel group supertb, but the bar staff ignored waiting customers, didn't let on to them, to tell them they would be with them soon - one stuffed half a sandwich in his mouth, took a couple of steps toward my obviously waiting friend - then turned and walked off! Very rude.

Terrible music which was also very loud, service was not bad except hard to get additional drinks, but food was average at best. Had to ask for bill twice and they never returned so I could pay, had to find someone myself. Restaurant was empty as well. Wouldn't remmmend it.

The food here is amazing and reasonably prices. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The cocktails were also delicious. We came back later in the night to see the dancers and they were well worth making the trip back. Would definitely recommend if you're in Liverpool for the weekend.

The building interior was beautiful, service good and food excellent. HOWEVER, the restaurant shares the space with the bar and therefore the music was way too loud. (Also terrible song choices). Would think twice about going again for that reason. Shame because the place has so much potential to be amazing.
