It was great atmosphere, food was lovely and great choice , drinks flowed. Would definitely recommend it for a special occasion. Will be back soon

Lovely venue and nice staff. Food was good but not at all special. We would definitely go again. Don't rush to see the gospel choir.

Short stay in Liverpool for weekend - came here as a result of reviews on Trip Advisor - we weren't disappointed. Good food, ambience & people watching from upstairs balcony.

Since ownership has changed the quality of food definitely has too. The menu was limited and the food bland. Nothing like it used to be very disappointed.

The building interior was beautiful, service good and food excellent. HOWEVER, the restaurant shares the space with the bar and therefore the music was way too loud. (Also terrible song choices). Would think twice about going again for that reason. Shame because the place has so much potential to be amazing.

Sunday lunch was amazing. The service as always was excellent and the roast beef was cooked perfectly. The gospel music was as good as ever, and there was the bonus of a live singer in between gospel songs. Perfect.

Excelent place, food and atmosphere. I would realy recomend. Everything was wonderful. It is in a very good location, in the city center of Liverpool. Very easy to reach.

A great night in a beautiful place !!! And a great bar to stay and drink in with all the cocktails and good music ..... will definitely go again

Booking service slick & efficient & staff welcoming on arrival.Excellent meal staff were great a lovely ending to a to a fantastic day for our daughter's graduation.

Lovely venue and very nice food. Only issue which ( for some wouldn't be) was that the food was served at lighting speed. We were onky half way through our bottle of wine and we had finished our desert and we aren't slow drinkers. We wanted the evening there but was in and out within the hour.

The staff and service were excellent, friendly, professional and extremely accommodating. We all enjoyed the food in a great atmosphere and would full recommend visiting your establishment.

Not too impressed with the food. We were a party of four and each of us didn't like something that was brought out. Could have been better.

Fantastic meal and the atmosphere with the a Gospel Choir was incredible. Staff were very attentive and the meals were delivered in great time. Will go again soon

The restaurant is beautiful and we had a lovely time. However, one of the meals was disappointing and difficult to eat (jerk chicken, full of bones).

Great food and cocktails, staff were great, we had the table for a good length of time too,thanks for a lovely night we will defiantly be coming back very soon

Booked for Sunday afternoon lunch to hear Gospel Choir who were excellent though cannot say same for quality of food . Ordered chicken roast and it came swimming in gravy with no stuffing as described on menu . When asked how was meal told waiter and he just shrugged . Have been before for evening meal and was very nice but won't be back as plenty of other places to go at more reasonable prices and better service

Stunning setting! But expensive. Lunch with my wife, choosing from quite a limited menu, but still enough options for all tastes IMO We both went for chicken (hanging chicken kebab & Jerk chicken) Food was nice, visited more for the experience as it's a stunning place

The most beautiful restaurant and staff all lovely. The gin though I ordered for me and my mom wasn't Gin and tonic either the gin was wrong or they used water instead of tonic as we both couldn't drink it was awful. The starter was amazing the main very bland. The place is lovely though just a couple of things that let it down wouldn't stop us returning though.

Our night here was astounding, beautiful food cooked to a high standard, great customer service from David P our waiter and lovely surroundings to enjoy.

We were there for lunch to celebrate our daughters Graduation. Food was delicious and plentiful with good presentation. Waiter was extremely nice and very helpful. He kindly took photographs of us on our very special occasion. Fabulous setting and excellent location.

Good service, good food, nice atmosphere. Less selection than there was last time but food was still lovely. Cocktails were as good as always there.

Perfect food, great service, wonderful presentation of the food....Really good vibes😋 It's my 2nd time here. I'll be back for sure! The bar down stairs, is really good too. And the music is, really doing good, and compliments the food...mmm

The staff were friendly, the restaurant look fantastic, the food was lovely, the drinks were good however quite expensive but you get what you pay for i suppose. Overall we would go again for soecial occassions.

Music a bit loud at first was quickly adjusted and waitress was really helpful accommodating dietary requirements. Overall very good experience and very tasty food. Menu could involve some nibbles like olives and bread for the wait on meals.

Good service and enjoyable food would certainly recommend it because the venue itself is stunning. Sadly not as busy as have seen it in the past which does affect the atmosphere

Very good experience but my steak was supposed to be well done . In my opinion it came out black like burnt. Otherwise I enjoyed the the rest of the experience.

Alma de Cuba is a fab restaurant, with awesome cocktails and the perfect ambience no matter the occasion. The late show is one to experience.

Perfect. Food was cooked brilliantly. I hate swede but I even ate that! Beef was spot on, drinks were epic matched by the amazing singers. My happy place

Great food and service. We went on a Tuesday eve so was quiet but staff were fab and attentive. Looking forward to returning on a busier night. Bartender was v impressive as he dealt with our cocktail orders at same time as taking and making 4 others. Awesome experience

Friendly helpful staff. Superb ambience. Complimentary Birthday cocktail. Superb menu, great tasting food. Steak cooked to perfection. Really elegant furnished interior with a really nice lovely look to it. Perfect for romantic meal.

Break between courses felt rushed and there was little more then 10 mins between courses. I do prefer someone to ask if I am ready for the next course, although i do appreciate to need to turn tables over in x amount of time. However quality of food was excellent and would defiantly return.

Great place, great service, nice food. Only problem was that there was no music as the sound system was broke so all we could hear was a conference that was taking place on the mezzanine.

Excellent atmosphere service good food great not cheap for drinks but worth it for the atmosphere would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Cuban dancers were brill.

28th June, place was freezing, zero athmosphere because no music, only 4 couples in the place which made it even less welcoming, won't go again.

Great day out for brunch although the gospel singers were only on for about half hour. Ambiance was amazing and staff were friendly. Service was quick and roast was spot on!

We ate here last Friday. never again, starters only ok. Rib eye steak was full of gristle, couldn't cut it never mind chew it. Awful.

We all had the sirloin steak which was delicious and cooked to perfection. At 9.30 the DJ starts playing fab music and there is areal party atmosphere. We really enjoyed our night here. Pretty faultless. Thanks to the lovely staff and fabulous dancing Joel's. 😀

Wow , a Monday night at Alma de Cuba for a special reunion - inspired ! Great food beautifully presented, fantastic ambience , and excellent service from our waiters. Knowing it is a converted church and thinking it might be quiet on a Monday I was a little unsure, however Alma de Cuba was perfect. The redesign of this place means it is dramatic yet intimate, and I can't wait to return on my next visit to Liverpool .

I was surprised that you would serve fries with a steak. also I did not like having skin on the red snapper. It gives it a fishy taste. Desserts were the best!
