28th June, place was freezing, zero athmosphere because no music, only 4 couples in the place which made it even less welcoming, won't go again.

A great setting for a restaurant, good atmosphere, our server Gemma was very friendly and attentive, 1st class customer service, food was very good, only thing that let the night down was the server in the bar downstairs was rather surly, wished we had stayed upstairs in the restaurant and had our cocktails there.

Great experience and great service. Me and my partner had the sirloin steak which was delicious and perfectly cooked. I also had my favourite cocktail espresso martini - that was the best made espresso martini I've ever had !

We went to try the Sunday Gospel Choir Brunch. The Choir was excellent and as one of our party had mobility problems, the staff were very accommodating and sat us downstairs. We all opted for the roast dinner, which although nice was not hot enough. We were offered fresh potatoes and vegetables, when we brought this to the staff's attention. One downside of being seated downstairs for our meal was that it was difficult to get the waiting on staff's attention. Overall, though a pleasant experience in nice surroundings.

While the decor of the restaurant was unique and worth seeing, and the food good, the table was in blinding sunlight and it was oppressively warm. We were told that it is not sunny often enough to fix the problem. If you are going to talk, keep in mind that this is a night club later and is quite loud.

It was absolutely boiling, we came on Saturday 17th June it was hot weather but the restaurant was so hot it was uncomfortable and difficult to enjoy our food, the food was lovely but we couldn't enjoy it. No measures like fans had been put in place to help.

Friendly and accommodating staff with a 10 month old. Food excellent- choir were great. Shame we couldn't see them. Error on bill quickly rectified. Only problem was the state of baby changing facilities/ quite grubby and no Bin. Overall very good

I really love this place. It's so beautiful and the staff is really nice. The bad thing was I received the wrong wine and wrong dessert. I also had to ask twice if we could order the next course.

A sad change from a year or two back - very, very limited menu particularly for a Saturday night in Liverpool and steaks on arrival - poor - not quite bad enough to send back. A shadow of its former self. Sadly, none of us would return.

I can honestly say that the food at Alma de Cuba was one of the best, if not, the best Sunday dinner that I have ever had, (sorry mum). The food was cooked perfectly, the restaurant itself was magical and the staff courteous and attentive. The only downside is we arrived too early and left before the Sunday gospel choir started.

Absolutely love it here but last 2 visits have proved a little disappointing, in particular this Sunday Brunch. Firstly our order was incorrect, and the food was warm at best. The service could also be described as warm as best. I'm sorry Alma de Cuba it is with a heavy heart that I put this out there. The gospel music was great though.

Chose a quiet time [5:45 pm] which suited us, although it was VERY quiet. The starter for my wife could have been more generous with the salsa but my rib-eye steak was very good. The side dish of french fries was huge!

Our table was well placed and didn't feel crowded by others. The service was timed so it didn't feel rushed or overbearing. All four of us enjoyed the food with everyone thinking all 3 courses were excellent.

Beautiful decor. Friendly staff. Excellent service. Limited menu but food was great. Nicely presented, big enough portions and cooked well. Only criticism which I understand but was slightly frustrating was that we were there celebrating my daughters graduation with the whole family and when wishing to enter the bar downstairs for a cocktail before leaving my youngest was not allowed in and therefore none of us could go in! It was still early and she would have sat with nothing alcoholic with her parents and elder sisters...disappointing as we all had to leave when we wanted to experience the bar atmosphere for a while...
