Our main meal was lovely & service was good but very disappointed with the cheeseboard, no side plates, no cheese knives & could only eat one type of the cheese

Sadly the service was poor wasn’t the same as last time both steaks didn’t taste nice at all the rest o the food was nice though and maybe needed to play some music as not even a good atmosphere disappointed as know the Artisan is much better than that

Staff did not seem fully clear in relation to allergens and what was available on the menu. Steaks weren't cooked enough for what was asked for. Staff then asked how long the party actually wanted steaks cooked. Disappointing visit following previous enjoyable visits.

We waited 15 minutes for a drink order to be taken, 10 minutes for drinks to arrive and the servers were inexperienced, clearney not trained well. Food was reasonable quick when order was finally taken. Food was ok. Festive menu was not advertised when I booked and the menu wasn't up to the usual standard

I have been to the Artisan a few times in the past and loved the food. It was a very special restaurant. On this visit I felt it was a bit run down. The food was OK but nothing special. I dont think I will go back. It used to be very busy. For two weeks before Christmas, it was virtually empty. I was really disappointed.

What a lovely quirky place. Food was amazing, service was lovely will definitely be visiting again when I'm on Scotland. I have never seen so many whiskeys in one place. Even the owner and his wife are the most laid back lovely people. Thank you for a lovely evening.

5 of us had dinner yesterday. Between us, we had turkey and braised beef, with Christmas pudding and sticky toffee. Absolutely, no complaints. The food was delicious and the service excellent.
