Good location in the heart of London. convenient for the theatres. Excellent food and wine with attentive service and good gluten free options. Will be going again.

Lovely food and friendly service. One of the mains arrived 30 seconds after the other and the waiters were so apologetic for it being "late" it was nice to see that they really valued good service.

The dinner was excellent, the waiters were lovely and helpful and the dinner was delicious. Me and my Husband enjoyed a lot. It was a nice Valentine's day!

Nice food, great service and near to Harold Pinter Theatre where London's greatest musical Sunny Afternoon is performed by a fantastis cast!😃

Ladies' loos were a in poor state - one out of order, a 2nd one blocked. Pizzas were good and service nice and fast which was what we needed pre theatre.

Very good italian food, nice people and a normal price

Good atmosphere and attentive staff. Love the small dishes so can try lots of different things. The home made ravioli was delicious as was the calves liver and the spinach. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived so we were given a glass of prosecco on the house which was much appreciated.

Very good quality food and service. I was pleasantly surprised by the high standard all round. Will definitely be returning.

Friendly staff who went out of their way to seat us when we turned up 30 mins early on New Year's Eve. I had meatballs to start and then pizza which were delicious but my friends chicken parmigiana was a bit dry and not enough sauce. Would go back again.

We came to Assaggetti last week before going to the theatre . We booked our table beforehand and on arriving, were shown to a nice window table overlooking the Haymarket opposite the theatre.. The service was exemplary, the waiter describing what was on offer at the restaurant. We opted for pizzas and were not disappointed- good size, thin base with lovely fillings and beautifully fresh. The desserts were lovely too and the coffee unpretentious .It was very good value and we shall definitely return maybe to try the tapas which looked very nice. All in all a very good experience.

Warm welcome and a great place to eat. The service is kind but a bit too fast (the restaurant was not full). The food is delicious and seems to be homemade. The biggest problem, for me, is the size of the meals. We took pasta and I'd surely eat twice the size of my plate... It was delicious but too small ;) For the rest, the wine choice is correct (even if 2 of the red's where not available... but it was on 2nd of january, it can explains some things).

Had dinner here before theatre. Excellent service, lovely food, good location. Will be going back. Do book as they are very busy, this did not impact on the service though!

Fennel and orange salad virtually without dressing and very watery. Liver not cooked 'rare' according to request (H. and S.). Disgusting fried pasta as garnish.

Reall great atmosphere on a busy night (31st Dec), food was really good - we went for more tapas sized portions which were enough for the kids and allowed us to sample more dishes. Pizza looked good too. Service was prompt and attentive. Couldn't fault.

It's a nice restaurant, with some genuine surprises on the menu, and most of them are nice. Waiters waiver in their attentiveness, but that's Italy for you. :S I still like the place. I'll be back.

A first time visit meant that the menu needed explaining which was done politely and clearly. The service was excellent and the straightforward food we ordered was well cooked. A definite repeat.

Nice restaurant and helpful staff. Good for pre or apres theatre as service quite swift! Choice of foods/drinks also good and would recommend for sure ;)

Really good Italian food. My boyfriend's pizza (pancetta, egg and pecorino) was perfect as was my spagetti carbonara. Excellent value for money. I always come here knowing that I will not be disappointed if I want to grab a quick and utterly satisfying bite to eat.

The staff were welcoming and attentive. Willing to explain the menu etc and suggest things to go with what we had ordered already. The food and service were also very good. We would definitely go there again.

It was disappointing, as food was nothing special and overpriced for what it was. In general I don't mind paying more for good quality food, but Assaggetti wasn't just worth it. Won't be going there again.

Food is good but the store managers try to push you out as soon as you finish your dinner in order to accomodate the more people they can... Bad attitude. Service anyway is good and the waiters seem to suffer the behaviour of they managers.

All four of us very much enjoyed our meals, the pizza I had was probably the best pizza I have ever had (salmon and cream cheese), my grandma liked that there was an option to have a smaller portion. The desserts were also great sizes, and the staff were all very lovely. Not from London and not heard of the restaurant before - would like to go back.

Friendly staff giving customer the personal touch and attention. The food is very good. Assagetti mixes professionalism with a feeling of authentic tasty fresh food. I am italian and assagetti has captured the feeling and ambience of a true italian restaurant. Small to large dishes with great wines.. restauand staff is at hand give u an helping hand if necessary. The wine list is also good and varied.

We arrived early but the staff were more than helpful. The meal was very good and we had a most enjoyable time.

My second visit with friends Not as good as last time Nce welcome but waitress got flustered as the place filled up. What a shame.

Really good restaurant with attentive staff for the 8 of us. The food came out hot and was really tasty. The salmon and cream cheese pizza was lovely, as was the chicken parmagiano.
