Banh Banh Vietnamese Kitchen

Fabulous waiting staff, delicious food - not perfect but pretty good. Sticky wings, betel leaves filled with bbq mince and aubergine very good. Pancakes a little too doughy and difficult to eat in the leaves and beef stew a little glutinous. Good sauvignon blanc.

Good atmosphere, nice food and friendly service. Aubergine was a hit and the caramel cake was lovely and light. Only improvement - could have provided a little bowl to wash hands as fingers were sticky after dipping food.

Great atmosphere. Amazing food. The summer rolls were fantastic. The cocktails were excellent too. The staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the menu. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful - unexpected dishes outside the standard Vietnamese fare, cool thoughtfully designed interior and a warm welcome. If you are doing the Pho test, it is authentically deep and intense here.

Absolutely delicious food and cocktails! I wasn't as keen on the dessert as the rest of the food so I would go for more starters next time and skip dessert. Starters and mains were amazing.

We were at first a bit uncertain. It felt like a canteen with bare tables, bare walls, bare light bulbs and tiled floor. But as the restaurant filled up, the atmosphere softened with the chat of contented diners. It was fun to be offered cocktails in such a setting and though expensive they were delicious: somehow neither beer nor wine seems to fit with oriental food and we were happy to drink water once we'd downed the cocktails. Choosing lots of starters we had a table full of interesting and delicious dishes, along with "greens" described as "morning glory" - was it really the plant of that name that grows in our gardens!? If you like fresh tasting food with lots of fruit and vegetables, chicken and prawns some pork and chili flavours you'll love what's on offer at Banh Banh. Not a long menu - so can't wait to go back and try the items we didn't try. Lovely service.

Great evening out with friends. Beautiful food and very chilled vibe. Perfect for when you want to chat and relax - even though it was full still very chilled. Will definately be coming back!

Loved it. Food was amazing and well priced. The place itself had a lively atmosphere and friendly service. I wish they had a more traditional dessert option but the selection was still good. Wonderful to have such a good restaurant in South East London.

Went for dinner on a busy Saturday night with two friends. The service was excellent - the staff are all really friendly and helpful - and the food was great and really fresh. Good cocktails too! Would highly recommend.

Another excellent restaurant for Peckham. Everything we had was delicious and the staff were helpful and friendly. Shame I live on the Isle of Wight as I could happily go there once a week. Perhaps they could open a branch here, please!

Really friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble and care was taken to ensure we knew what we were ordering. The siblings who run the restaurant all wanted to ensure we had a good meal and enjoyed ourselves. Food was excellent, not a big menu but all well presented with generous portions.

Great atmosphere and service. Food was fantastic, interesting choices and well executed. Only reason why I did not rate 6 out of 6 was that some of the starter portions were on the small side. Mains were a good size.

A great deal of vegan options. Great atmosphere, beer and delicious food! The price isn't bad either, I will be returning many times! Very close to the station.

Lovely Vietnamese spot in Peckham. The food is fresh and vibrant, portion sizes are perfect. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend.

The food was great, and we really enjoyed the more modern take on Vietnamese cuisine. The atmosphere was also good and the cocktails were great. The service was also excellent so I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Good location, just a 5-10 minute walk from Peckham Rye. Very tasty food although the menu does take some explaining. Would definitely return - really enjoyed it.

Love this place - the food was amazing. The papaya salad was probably my fave. We also loved the prawn pancakes. Absolutely worth the journey to Peckham if you don't live nearby!

Banh Banh is wonderful. Tasty, healthy feeling but delicious food. Service is impeccable, staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is perfect. Go but book ahead it's not easy to get a table as a lot of people know how good it is!

The whole food experience is excellent! The pancakes are a must-try. Friendly service, well made, tasty cocktails, beautiful atmosphere and music that allows a conversation to flow. Highly recommended

I really love the food at Banh Banh! Everything is packed with subtle flavours coupled with a great selection of cocktails. The staff too are really friendly and knowledgeable.

Great new restaurant . Good location, cool decor, great service. I loved the grapefruit gin and tonic. The food was tasty and presented very well. Great atmosphere. I like the limited menu which suggests that dishes are freshly cooked.

Delicious food at Banh Banh, traditional family recipes given a modern twist. Great service, cocktail list and ambience. Particularly loved the beef wrapped in betel leaves, and the prawn pancakes. 4 of my friends were Vegan/vegetarian and there was plenty to choose from, in fact every dish at a V option which kept them very happy.

Really impressed with Bahn Bahn, nice relaxed atmosphere with great food. Ordered summer rolls and BBQ beef as appetisers and Pho and Bun Bo Hue for mains. The BBQ beef was succulent and flavorful and the Bo Hue was nicely spiced, delicious! Would definitely recommend and will be returning for sure. Would've liked to have jasmine tea on the drinks menu.

Great food but it was very busy and so very noisy. It could do with some pictures being hung on the walls to absorb the noise.

Great little place in Peckham with good atmosphere and friendly service. Food was fantastic and all ingredients were fresh. Beef from my stew was melting in my mouth - it was unbelievably good value for money.
