Despite other positive reviews hence our booking, we were not that impressed. The food was OK but expensive compared to other Vietnamese we have visited in S London

great food, we had to wait quite a bit but it was no problem as the place was very busy and we were well looked after! would definitely recommend!

A fairly small but incredibly well formed menu. The food was delicious. The service was friendly and prompt. I'd recommend Banh Banh to anyone else.

Fantastic Vietnemese food, which was full of flavour. Particularly enjoyed the chicken wings and prawn pancakes wrapped in lettuce ! Food tasted fresh and healthy.

Food was brilliant and staff were so friendly/great. Took some friends who love vietnamese food and they were really impressed. Will definitely be back again!

Fabulous food and service and lovely people. Relaxed atmosphere all round. Cocktails great too- recommend the special gin and tonic cocktail. Definitely recommend a visit.

I don't usually tend to try new food but I'm so glad I did! The food at this restaurant was delicious, full and my partner and I had an overall nice experience.

Beautiful food - you will likely never see these pancakes in other Vietnamese eateries. The beef in lettuce was amazing - just how I remembered them to be when I was little! Service excellent 👍

Great fresh delicious tasting food, better than I had expected. Limited wine menu but was still pleasing. The staff were all delightful and very helpful. Only drawback is that reservation is for 1.5 hours, unless you require more time when making the reservation but unsure.

Nice set up, although not very vietnamese, but lacking atmosphere and personality. Food is good but not a lot of choice so after a couple of visits you wouldn't be able to experience something different. Good fresh ingredients but taste a bit bland, needs more garlic and nuoc mam to get close to real vietnamese also some chopped chillies on the table would be good too.

The staff were super attentive and helpful (but not overbearing) food was excellent and good value, rather jealous of my friends mains but it's an excuse to go back again soon. Nice relaxed evening! Thanks

Food was good and tasted fresh, but a little lacking in flavours. Disappointingly sparse choice for vegetarians - there isn't even a veggie Pho option, or papaya salad. Hopefully the owners realise how much demand there is for veggie/vegan food there is nowadays and update their menu soon. Decor is very nice, rather formal. Went early evening on a Saturday and was quite quiet. Reasonably priced (apart from expensive beers). Would go again, but not in a hurry.

Friendly service, excellent quality food, good drinks selection. Really nicely fitted out space. I love this place and will be coming back to try out more dishes.

Excellent quality food. I went with a group of 5 and we ordered almost everything on the menu and every item was perfect. We also came with a friend who was gluten and lactose intolerant and on a sugar free diet and she was treated like a queen. Thanks very much BahnBahn!

Really authentic cuisine, ambient atmosphere and a lovely family run business. Recommend the bun noodle salad and some sticky chicken wings to go along the side!

Lovely food - quite different to anything I've eaten at Viet places in London - we had the beef in betal leaves and the prawn pancakes, both excellent. Papaya salad ok but a bit bland, I'd recommend adding fresh chilli. Summer rolls delicious. Service good. Very good value. £100 for two including desert, a bottle of prosecco and a couple of cocktails!!

A place with really lovely food, delicious cocktails (including non-alcoholic) and great service. I would very happily go back, and definitely will. A perfect neighbourhood restaurant.

Food disappointing , not remotely spicy although we requested it spicy . The tofu Buddha curry was very dull and I did not enjoy my pork patties noodle salad , starters were better . Service however very friendly and good .

Great atmosphere, decor and waiting staff. Food was good and swift, barring some confusion over my partner's main as he ordered the spicy lemongrass tofu and chicken curry was brought out. The waitress was apologetic and quickly rectified it; the tofu was quite cold when it arrived but the flavours were good. Would definitely return.

We had a fabulous meal made with very fresh ingredients. It is very reasonably priced and the service was delightful - friendly, helpful and very welcoming. We'll be back!! Highly recommended.

Friendly service with nice starters (we had chicken wings & prawn summer rolls) and very good mains (we had beef stew and noodle salad). Definitely recommended and make sure you book in advanced on Fri or Sat evening as its popular...

The best Vietnamese food I've tasted anywhere. The tofu spring rolls are so good that we were tempted to order a second portion for dessert!

The place is small and pleasant, the service was a bit slow, but also the place was packed! The food was very good, a unic taste I could say. Definitely recommend and I will go back for sure!

This was our 3rd visit here (this time with my parents) and we were still not disappointed. BahnBahn is a great local place with good food, good service and a good atmosphere. Some tables and the bar reserved for walk ins. If the place looks full go in and ask as there's a 'hidden' back room too. The food is just fab; light, fresh and filling for the senses and stomach as well as not being too heavy on the pocket. Try it. I doubt you will be disappointed (unless you want a grilled steak and s creamy pud in which case try the equally excellent pubs close by.

Amazing food which is very reasonable in terms of price for the quality you receive. cocktail were delicious but slow to come out of the bar. friendly staff and a laid back vibe. It was really busy so book in advance

Really friendly and accommodating. Great food. Massive depth of flavor. Can't wait to eat there again. This place lives up to the buzz and then some.
