Great food, lovely wine and fabulous people. An Italian with a difference, the specials were really special and constantly changed. Such a shame they are moving on.

We had a great meal with our 13 year old - something for everyone. Not too big a menu and everything was fresh and gorgeous at a very reasonable price. Staff were great too. Thoroughly recommend.

We went to Barbaracca because we were looking for some authentic Italian food in a relaxed setting. We were really delighted: the food was interesting and regional, the restaurant is very much family-run with well-paced waiting staff providing good, unobtrusive service. The food was locally sourced, fresh and straightforward, well-presented without being fiddly or pretentious. We would definitely go again.

We’ve been to this great local restaurant a handful of times. They do outstandingly good food and wine. The staff are young but knowledgeable, friendly and give fantasyservice. Highly recommend this place. It is the best restaurant in town.

Great lunch - we were there with a toddler who loves to explore - staff was brilliant- nothing was a problem. Food was delicious, and the whole lunch was easy for us all. Thank you, Barbaracca. We've booked again!

A lovely taste of Sicily! My friend and I had a fabulous meal at Barbaraca last night, the staff are friendly but not imposing and the food tasted fresh and delicious. The squid ragu for 2 would have fed 4 and is definitely recommended. Will absolutely go there again.

Unbelievable fresh and tasty food. Superb. The Sea Bass and flavours were seriously out if this world. My son had a Vegan option, and was very impressed. He is , sadly, open disappointed. Husband loved the lasagne. Thank you

An absolutely delicious meal which was very reasonably priced. The restaurant was busy and had a great atmosphere and the service, as always, was fantastic too.

If you want something different, with bags of quirky character and faultless, delicious food, this is it. Godalming is lucky to have a restaurant this unique!

Lovely food and warm friendly staff. Overall experience is very sicilian. The pasta and gnocchi were amazing and there is a good selection of dishes at very affordable prices. We'll be back very soon.

Barbaracca has a great atmosphere. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly. I had the goats cheese and beetroot salad. So delicious and followed by the panacotta. Highly recommended.

Love this place. Staff great, especially with the kids. Food is always great too. We had a table of 8, 4x adults; 4x kids (2-5). Staff had the experience to serve kids first, and then adults. It really helps!! And much better than some other restaurants that serve kids last and/ or massively hot food on massively hot plates!

Food quality was very good and the wine list matched the cuisine well. Liked the idea of Italian Craft beers. Although the menu is not as extensive as some establishments, the food served is fresh, well cooked and, frankly, delicious! The tempura zucchini were excellent. Will be very happy to go eat here again!

We had a 1/2 price voucher and went there for lunch after a singing workshop. The food was good and the service efficient and friendly. There was no waiting time as it was near their closing time and we enjoyed our lunch.

Lovely upbeat welcome, family-friendly and delicious food served promptly. The lamb gave me a foodgasm. So much better than when this was La Luna. Lovely wine selection too. Superb!

Always a great atmosphere in the restaurant. Staff are always very friendly & helpful. Food is, without fail, delicious and the drinks selection is very good.

We took a friend who is half Italian and rightly so she was very impressed with the food. Our friend and I had the melanzane parmiggiano which was delicious. Despite being in the side room service was excellent and it was lovely to see the restaurant so busy.

Fabulous trattoria - family sharing bowls of pasta very good indeed. No idea why people would go to a chain when you have this on your doorstep !

Fantastic place and food. Received the same usual warm welcome. A real gem in Godalming, going from strength to strength ! Just wish they opened later on Sundays!

Delicious as always. My favourite place to eat out in Godalming. The pollo ripieno is particularly recommended, though you can't go far wrong with anything on their menu.

Cosy and friendly Italian. The food is tasty although not very big portion sizes so if you have a large appetite you may want to go elsewhere. It was enjoyable and I'm sure we will visit again.

We went on Saturday night when the restaurant was full but still had excellent and efficient service. Danielle, one of the owners, has trained some new chefs and it was great to see that the high standard has been maintained. Being Italianophiles this is one of our favourite restaurants where the regional Sicilian food is of excellent quality just like you get in Sicily!

Excellent simple food in great environment. Service great and friendly.menu wasn't comprehensive but what was listed was really broad. Perhaps more fish on the menu would have been good.

Fantastic supper. We both had the goats cheese mousse to start, followed by a fish special and the stuffed chicken for mains. Just managed to share a delicious tiramisu which was worth the calories. All was yummy and efficiently served by the friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Amazing, most authentic and fresh food in Godalming by a long way. Service is excellent and great atmosphere. Lamb rump is incredible and the sardines are incredibly fresh.
